Story
This is Dusty, an 11-month-old 55-pound Husky mix with a great personality. He's very energetic and loves to run around with his canine pals whether it's playing with toys or simply playing dog play! He's a sweet boy who loves to be with you, especially if you have a few minutes of play time available. This is a great boy! (posted 2/10/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **February 10, 2026, 3:38 pm

Story
Chief is a very sweet, loving husky who is fully house-trained and knows a few tricks. He is a total sucker for belly and back scratches and will happily beg for them. He’s 5 years old, 80lbs , very vocal, and maturing more every day. When left out in the house, you’ll usually find him playing with his toys or stretched out on the couch. We had him since 4 months old and he has the personality to keep you entertained! He does great with larger dogs, but he does have a dominant personality. He prefers not to share food or toys with other dogs, but has no problem sharing with people. He is a very good with people and children. Chief is our big lover boy! He absolutely loves kids, but being busy parents with a newborn arriving soon, we know we won’t be able to give him the time, attention, and energy he truly deserves. Because we love him so deeply, we want to find a home where he can continue to be someone’s baby and receive the love , affection, and structure he thrives on.

Story
Beautiful Chance is big, beautiful, and strong. He is part Husky and part Wolf, He looks like a Wolf, He howls rather than bark. He has eyes that are Husky eyes, and two different colors. He loves to play fetch and walks well on a leash. He loves treats. He enjoys cold weather. He would be great protection. Chance will be sweet and loyal with the right owner. He needs someone who is patient, kind, and strong. Because of his size and strength we have not had him around children.

Asher is a great, sweet dog. He has been through obedient training, is well behaved, and loves to please people but energetic. He’s been great with people, other dogs, and cats. We think he would be great with kids, but he has not been exposed to many.

Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net
