Meet Belle: Your Soft, Loyal, and Sweet Best Friend!
Imagine a dog who combines the comfort of a plush weighted blanket with the joy of a dedicated running partner. That is Belle in a nutshell!
Belle is the ultimate companion dog. She loves nothing more than following you from room to room, curling up for a quiet afternoon, and showing off just how ridiculously soft her fur is. She has a gentle soul and communicates in the sweetest little ways. She dreams out loud, makes adorable happy chuffing noises when she gets excited, and gives top-tier cuddles.
While she is mostly a low-key couch potato at home, put on her leash and she is ready to roll! Belle loves her daily walks and runs. She can get a little eager on the lead, but she is smart, eager to please, and already responds wonderfully to verbal guidance. She is currently mastering "heel" and already knows sit, down, and come.
Belle’s Ideal Home Checklist:
Cat-Approved: Tested and approved with four different cats! She respects all kinds of feline personalities, from bold to shy.
Kid-Tested: Came from a home with small children and is patient, gentle, and family-ready.
Dog-Friendly: Lives peacefully with another dog at home, though she can get a bit rowdy when meeting new dog friends, so structured introductions are best.
House Manners: 100% house-trained!
Storm Protocol: Thunderstorms make her anxious, but she handles her stress very quietly. Instead of pacing or barking, she usually seeks out a calm out of the way spot to nestle until the storm passes.
Belle is crate-trained, though like many dogs, she would much prefer to be wherever you are rather than left alone in a crate for long stretches. Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
