Story
NEED ADOPTOR OR FOSTER ASAP. Nova is about six years old. She is blind. Her current human, Haley, loves her with her whole heart and would have kept her forever if life had let her. Haley is pregnant. Due in July. No support system to manage a senior blind dog and a newborn at the same time. The easy answer would have been 'take her to a shelter.' We knew the shelters were full. A senior blind dog goes to the back of the line at any of them, if she gets in at all. So we did what AAF does. We set up a foster-of-record arrangement. Haley stays with Nova until the baby comes. AAF pays for her food, her supplies, her vet care. AAF actively looks for the right adopter. A local groomer donated free grooming so Nova is shiny and ready for her adoption photos. Here is what Haley wants you to know about Nova. She gets around. She is not slowing down. She still plays with her toys. She loves car rides. She loves cats. She gets along with other dogs really well. She is blind, not anxious. She moves through her familiar space confidently and adapts to new spaces if you give her time. She is housebroken. She does not bark much. What Nova needs is a patient adopter who has had a senior dog before. If you have a cat, even better. If you take road trips and want a quiet co-pilot, she is your dog. She still has plenty of life in her. Haley is not surrendering Nova because she stopped loving her. She is doing the harder thing. She is asking for help so Nova ends up where she belongs instead of in a kennel. If that family is you, let's talk. All of our adoptions are spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Animal-Angels Foundation is a Best Friends Network Partner, which connects us to the largest lifesaving network in the country. Our adoptable pets are also published to Adopt-a-Pet.com, the largest non-profit pet adoption website in North America. Through our Petco Love partnership, every adopter receives a 20 percent off coupon for Petco supplies on the day they take their new pet home. Wherever you find them, every adoption is supported by our 90-day Adoption Boost program and our Lifetime Return Policy.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Dog was found at the Gardendale Dog Park. Had him scanned on two occasions, no chip. Put out a social media campaign to find his owners but no one has come forth. Also I have been unable to find anyone willing to adopt him. I had his hook worms treated and a vet visit. He was started on heartworm/flea & tick prevention. I also had a microchip added to him for the new owners to register. Also had him groomed. He is a very adoptable pet although his breed typically steers people away. Huskies are one of a kind and it takes special owners to know how to care for them. I’ve not found anyone willing to take that chance. He is housebroken and crate trained. He is indifferent with other dogs his size but unsure how he would do with smaller dogs/cats, or kids.

Story
Claudia is a 2-year-old, 56-pound Husky mix with an award-winning personality! She came to us at rescue with a large cut on her inner thigh that had to be sutured, but that hasn’t slowed her down. (She’s almost completely healed!) She’s super sweet, playful, energetic, and vocal. She also loves belly rubs and knows how to sit! Great girl!!! (posted 6/11/26, ME) ' ' ' 'Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $170.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** ' ' 'July 25, 2026, 4:28 pm

Asher is a great, sweet dog. He has been through obedient training, is well behaved, and loves to please people but energetic. He’s been great with people, other dogs, and cats. We think he would be great with kids, but he has not been exposed to many.

Story
His name is Kai. Note, he has been an outside dog for years now so he does need a good grooming/wash. He is an AKC registered Siberian Husky. He is not up to date on vaccinations. He is currently 7 years old, turning 8 in September. These photos are a few years old, but I could provide more updated photos if someone is requesting them. He just needs some attention and a place to run around.
