Story
Gardendale, AL (Near Birmingham AL) Sky is a 3.5 year old Husky mix . Due to a divorce & a moving situations, he needs a new home. He absolutely loves people. He loves toys, bones, to play & to relax and love. He loves walks, runs, hiking, water and riding in a vehicle. He needs regular walks but then tires quickly & crashes after. He prefers being inside as a part of a family. He is crate trained, neutered & potty trained. He has all of his shots & takes trifecta. He has a natural drive to chase squirrels etc when off leash outside. He was raised with 2 small dogs & 9 year old but I’m not sure how that would go with a new family. He has chased stray cats outside. He is a lover dog that wants to bury his head in your lap. So I think he would thrive as a companion dog. He likes small children a lot but wasn’t raised in a home with any. Due to his size, he could knock small children down jumping I think. He needs to be with someone with either a fenced in area to run or regular walks

Story
Tillie is a beautiful and sweet 8-month-old Husky mix who presently weighs 22 pounds and will mature to between 40 and 50 pounds or so. A bit shy at first, she warms up quickly and, according to her foster, is super affectionate and loves to sit at your feet! She's great with other dogs and enjoys playing. She'll need to be brushed frequently as she'll probably shed a fair amount. Her gorgeous coat, though, deserves no less! (posted 8/26/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 2, 2025, 11:30 am

He loves to play fetch and walks well on a leash. He loves treats. He enjoys cold weather. He would be great protection. Chance will be sweet and loyal with the right owner. He needs someone who is patient, kind, and strong. Because of his size and strength we have not had him around children.

Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net
