Story
Meet Frankie & Tater — a bond you can feel the moment you see them.Frankie, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu, may be small in size, but his heart is enormous. By his side is Tater, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky with soulful eyes and a quiet loyalty that speaks volumes. Together, they are more than just companions—they are each other’s home. These two share a connection that words can barely capture. Tater looks to Frankie for comfort, reassurance, and confidence. Frankie, in turn, stays close to Tater as if he knows just how much he is needed. Where one goes, the other follows. Where one rests, the other settles in close. Their bond is constant, gentle, and deeply rooted.Their story hasn’t been an easy one. After the heartbreaking loss of their owner, Frankie and Tater found themselves in a shelter—surrounded by unfamiliar sights, sounds, and people. In a world that suddenly changed, they held tightly to the one thing that didn’t: each other.Tater, especially, relies on Frankie in ways that are impossible to ignore. He finds his sense of safety through him. Without Frankie, Tater becomes unsure—but with him, he finds calm, trust, and the courage to keep going. They are looking for a home that understands the depth of their bond and will honor it by keeping them together. A home that will give them the time, patience, and love they deserve as they begin again.Frankie and Tater don’t just need a family—they need their family. One that will cherish their connection, protect their hearts, and give them the stability they’ve lost.If you’re looking for something truly special, something rare and deeply meaningful, it’s right here. Two hearts. One bond. Waiting for a place to call home—together.April 4, 2026, 8:15 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger Spice! Are you ready to spice up your life with an adorable and energetic companion? Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Whether you're going for a hike in the great outdoors or cuddling up on the couch for movie night, Spice will be right by your side, ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Story
Meet Apollo 💙 Apollo is an 8-year-old husky mix who has been with me since 2020 as a foster “fail.” He’s full of personality—sassy, playful, and affectionate—and loves lounging with you for belly rubs. He does great on walks, enjoys being outside, and is comfortable in his kennel. When left alone inside, he does best when kenneled. As my schedule has become busier, I’m no longer able to give Apollo the time, attention, and exercise he truly deserves. This decision comes from a place of love—I want to find him a home where he can thrive, and get the consistent companionship he needs. Apollo would likely do best with someone familiar with huskies and their needs. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more. 💙

Story
Nora is a gentle, sweet-natured dog with a calm and thoughtful personality. She is affectionate in a quiet, meaningful way and enjoys being near her people, often choosing to relax close by rather than demand constant attention. She has a soft presence and does best in an environment where she feels safe, understood, and part of the family. Nora has been raised in a home with other dogs and is comfortable around them, though she would also do well as a cherished companion in a calm, stable household. She thrives with routine, patience, and kind guidance, and would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a loyal, emotionally intuitive dog. She is looking for a forever home where she can continue to build trust, feel secure, and be loved for the gentle soul she is.

Story
Daisy is a purebred Siberian Husky that is 7 years old. She is a very cheerful and friendly dog that gets along well with most other dogs and people. She is house broken and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, come here, and leave it. She is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise and so would do well with someone that has an active lifestyle and would love a big yard to run around in. She is not up to date on her vaccinations but she has been spayed and is in good health. We need to find her a new home ASAP, our space and schedule are just not cutting it for her high-energy needs.
