You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger Spice! Are you ready to spice up your life with an adorable and energetic companion? Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Story
We are looking to rehome our 8-year-old purebred Siberian Husky, Saber. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, but with two young kids, a baby on the way, and a busy lifestyle, we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He is about 45 lbs, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. He has a very calm temperament at home—he loves to just lay around, relax, and be near his people. He’s great with kids and has been a gentle, loving part of our family. He needs a home where someone is around often, as he really enjoys companionship and being close to people. We are looking for a loving home that can give him the attention, consistency, and care he deserves. Our goal is to find the best possible fit for him so he can continue to live a happy and comfortable life.

Story
Kota is big gentle dog. He really needs someone who is young and active to take him to the dog park and on adventures. He is nice to other small dogs has been around. He has never growled or gotten upset with any humans. He gets anxiety sometimes with new situations but quickly adapts as long as his human is around. He likes to play and would love another dog his size to play with.

Story
Lucky — Don’t let Lucky’s age fool you — this handsome 6-year-old red Siberian Husky is energetic, spry, and has plenty of life and adventure left to share. Lucky came to us alongside JJ after their family lost their home. They made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender them because they did not feel it was fair for their dogs to experience homelessness. Lucky is now looking for a family who can provide the stability, love, and companionship he deserves.Lucky is a dog full of personality. He is goofy, affectionate, expressive, and will make sure you always know exactly what he is thinking. True to his husky nature, Lucky has plenty to say and is not afraid to share his opinions! He is crate trained, although he may let you know if he has been in there too long or if he gets especially excited. He can be contained in a 4â€Â׃ foot fence, but because he is a smart and determined husky, the fence should be reinforced with stakes to prevent digging. He does wonderful on a runner, as that is what he has been on most of his life.Lucky does well with cats and bunnies, but because he is playful and enthusiastic, he should not be left unsupervised with small animals. He may think they are his new best friends and want to engage them in his very enthusiastic style of play.Lucky is extremely vocal, especially in the car. After being involved in a car accident, he began vocalizing more during rides, which may be related to anxiety from that experience. He will happily narrate his entire journey with his signature husky commentary! Safety is very important with Lucky — if windows are lowered too far, he may attempt to jump out, so anyone transporting him must keep windows at a safe height. When it comes to other dogs, Lucky is friendly, neutral, and goofy. He is the dog who wants every other dog to know he means no harm. If he joins a home with another dog, it is best to feed him separately, as he can be protective of his food around other animals.Lucky loves children and enjoys spending time with them. He thrives on routine and would do best in a predictable household where he can settle into a schedule and feel secure. He is the ultimate sidekick — the type of dog who is happy to accompany you anywhere. With a leash on, Lucky is ready for adventures to restaurants, farmers markets, beaches, parks, rivers, and lakes. He enjoys hiking, walks, exploring, and especially chasing balls! He loves snow and enjoys water, although he is more of a wader than a swimmer.Lucky does have some separation anxiety and will let you know when he misses his people with whining, howling, and his very dramatic husky emotions. He is looking for a family who understands that his loyalty runs deep and who will appreciate a dog that wants to truly be part of their life.Lucky isn’t just a dog — he’s an adventure buddy, a hiking partner, a comedian, and the loyal companion you’ve always wanted. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive, and devoted husky with plenty of energy and love left to give, Lucky may be your perfect match.August 5, 2026, 7:52 pm
