You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger Spice! Are you ready to spice up your life with an adorable and energetic companion? Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Whether you're going for a hike in the great outdoors or cuddling up on the couch for movie night, Spice will be right by your side, ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Maya is a beautiful gal with a gentle spirit and wonderfully refined manners. If you’re looking to add a calm, steady presence to your home, this sweet girl may be just the companion you’ve been waiting for! Maya has an independent personality that makes her easy and enjoyable to be around. She’s friendly, relaxed, and perfectly content simply sharing space with her favorite people. Whether you’re reading a book, watching TV, or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Maya is happiest just being nearby. As a mature lady, she appreciates her rest and values a little personal space from time to time. Maya can be selective about her canine companions. If there is another dog in the home, we’ll require a meet-and-greet at the shelter to ensure everyone feels comfortable and compatible before going home together. If you’re hoping to welcome a mellow, well-mannered companion who will bring quiet comfort and loyal company into your life, Maya would love to meet you!Adoption Price: $150

Story
Yoshi is a young pup who`s come straight out of the Mushroom Kingdom, ready to join your party! This sweet boy absolutely loves spending time with people and is always quick to make new friends. He makes sure you know just how happy he is to be around you by offering endless snuggles, affection, and tail wags. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily soak up all your love and give it right back, Yoshi is your guy! He`s an energetic dog who thrives with playtime, enrichment, and new adventures. Yoshi may have three legs, but he has adapted wonderfully and still enjoys an active, happy life alongside his favorite people. He would thrive in an active home that’s excited to include him on walks, outings, and other activities that keep his mind and body engaged. Yoshi is still learning how to play politely, so we are requiring that any children in his new home are age 10 or older. Yoshi may also do well with another dog after a slow introduction. However, he`s still learning his doggie manners, so an introduction at the shelter will be required if his potential adopters already have a dog at home to see if they are a good match. If you’re looking for a resilient, affectionate companion who’s ready to start his next adventure, Yoshi is ready to press “Start” on life with you!Adoption Price: $150

Story
Beaker is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little softer and a lot more peaceful. With his mellow nature and easygoing personality, he’s happiest simply being near his people, whether that’s joining you for a relaxed walk or lounging by your side at home. He enjoys playtime in short bursts but truly shines as a calm and steady companion. Beaker walks beautifully on leash, staying right by your side and making outings feel effortless. He also responds well to commands, showing that he’s both attentive and eager to connect with his handler. Beaker may do well with children of any age due to his calm demeanor, making him a gentle and steady presence in the home. He may also do well with other dogs, especially with proper introductions to help set everyone up for success. Beaker has a history of predatory behavior toward poultry; for this reason, a home without livestock is required. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who brings a sense of calm wherever he goes, Beaker might be your perfect match.Adoption Price: $150

Story
Meet Apollo 💙 Apollo is an 8-year-old husky mix who has been with me since 2020 as a foster “fail.” He’s full of personality—sassy, playful, and affectionate—and loves lounging with you for belly rubs. He does great on walks, enjoys being outside, and is comfortable in his kennel. When left alone inside, he does best when kenneled. As my schedule has become busier, I’m no longer able to give Apollo the time, attention, and exercise he truly deserves. This decision comes from a place of love—I want to find him a home where he can thrive, and get the consistent companionship he needs. Apollo would likely do best with someone familiar with huskies and their needs. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more. 💙
