You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger Spice! Are you ready to spice up your life with an adorable and energetic companion? Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Whether you're going for a hike in the great outdoors or cuddling up on the couch for movie night, Spice will be right by your side, ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Story
Daisy is a purebred Siberian Husky that is 7 years old. She is a very cheerful and friendly dog that gets along well with most other dogs and people. She is house broken and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, come here, and leave it. She is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise and so would do well with someone that has an active lifestyle and would love a big yard to run around in. She mouths sometimes when she gets really excited, and for this reason might not be the best option for those with children. She gets anxious when separated, but does better if she has another doggie friend to hang out with while people are away. She is very smart and sweet and just wants to love on everyone. She is not up to date on her vaccinations but she has been spayed and is in good health. We need to find her a new home ASAP, our space and schedule are just not cutting it for her high-energy needs.

Story
Stella is a beautiful dog who thinks she is a princess. She also believes she is a lap dog and not a large breed. She is good with kids and other animals once she is comfortable. She is a hard core scraps beggar and will refuse to eat her dinner if it's not her favorite flavor. She may be an old lady but she still has her spunk. She overreacts to grooming so it's not always the easiest thing to accomplish. She has been to a groomer previously and been alright.

Story
`Meet Braxton! This dog is 70 pounds of pure joy and love. Initially, Braxton was afraid of the outdoors and loud noises, but over the past few months he’s made amazing progress to-wards becoming a calm and confident dog. He is always learning, and with a calm, confident owner, his days of being afraid will be over. Now it’s safe to say Braxton loves the out-doors and can’t wait to go on his next walk.Braxton is a very versatile dog fit for someone who loves a good long walk but also a good cuddle session with lots of tummy rubs. He is very trustworthy and gentle, though he’s still learning about personal space and believes he’s a lap dog. Braxton is very gentle and does not guard his food nor his toys. He is friendly with people and kids, making him a perfect companion for families and individuals alike. He walks nicely on a leash and can be left alone without worry. Whether it`s sitting at your feet while you work or walking around town, Braxton is your ideal companion. This boy has so much love to give, made all the more evident by the fact that his tail wags at supersonic speeds if you so much as look at him. He is truly an amazing dog.` - Foster Parent

Meet His Righteousness, Ragnar ! This bodacious Husky is part Party Animal, part loveable Bestie. He`s full of playful energy and zoomies (got to keep up his Husky cred !),  loves playing with toys, long sniffy walks, and rolling around in the grass like it`s an Olympic sport. He LOVES attention and affection... his signature move is to lean into you with with all his weight, `forcing` you, his adoring human, to focus all of your attention on him, petting him all over like it`s your favorite pastime (Husky mind-control... its a real thing!). It`s all worth it in the end, though, as nothing is as heartwarming as earning a gorgeous Ragnar- smile:).This boy is pure optimism... he patiently waits for someone to see him as the treasure he is. Story
Meet Opus! ?? Opus is a 4-year-old Husky with the softest fur and the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen. At just around 41 pounds, he’s a little smaller than most huskies, but don’t let his size fool you; he’s full of charm and personality. This handsome boy has the best facial expressions, and he’s even known to stick his tongue out for extra cuteness points. He also gives one of the sweetest nose boops around. Opus enjoys his walks with a “sniff-first” approach, taking time to explore the world around him. He’s an easy walker and a gentle companion. He sits patiently for treats. Sometimes he’s food-motivated, and sometimes he’s just happy to be near you. Opus is wonderful at both giving and receiving affection, and he’s starting to come out of his shell more each day. He also participates in playgroups and is learning how much fun it can be to have dog friends. If you’re looking for a kind, soulful companion who will melt your heart with a single look, Opus might just be your guy. ??Opus has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
