Story
Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 11-years-old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  More of my pictures can be found here:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjA21ay Hope to meet you soon! Story
Zara Hope is a tiny little bundle of joy, cuddles, comedy, and puppy sparkle wrapped up in a beautiful smooth black-and-tan coat.   Zara Hope is an 11-week-old female Pinscher and Husky mix, probably with a little something else mixed in to keep her at a nice medium size. She currently weighs 9 pounds and is estimated to be around 35 to 40 pounds as an adult. She has short, very soft, smooth dark black fur with beautiful light tan Pinscher markings on her head, chest, and legs. She also has one brown eye and one very light blue eye that gets attention everywhere she goes. Her ears are currently adorable little lop ears, but they are trying very hard to stand up and will likely be pricked up when she is grown. They stand up from time to time now.   Zara has an excellent temperament and is just an incredibly happy little puppy. She is extremely friendly, outgoing, upbeat, cuddly, and full of life. She loves people, loves attention, and absolutely loves being picked up and carried around. Her favorite place in the world is in your lap, curled up next to you, or sleeping under the covers like a tiny heated blanket. She is slightly more interested in people than other dogs, but she still has a blast running, wrestling, and playing when she has dog friends around.   She is being fostered with a 72-pound female German Shepherd Dog who acts as her nanny, and Zara loves playing with her. She enjoys other dogs, large and small, and would do great in a home with another playful dog friend. She has also been cat tested and does great with cats. She is mildly curious about them, but mostly ignores them. Zara would also be perfectly happy as an only dog as long as she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles from her people. She loves adults and kids and is extremely friendly with people she meets.   For an 11-week-old puppy, Zara is doing wonderfully with her manners and training. She does well in her crate, is very quiet in it, and runs right in when it is time to eat her meals. She is working on potty training and already understands that outside is where she should go. When the door opens, she runs outside to potty. She may still have an accident or two every few days, but they are small and easy to clean up. She listens well, comes running when called, and is eager to please. She is also very food motivated, which should make training much easier.   Zara is fairly quiet overall. She mostly barks when she is playing, wants attention, or is separated from her person. Like most puppies her age, she is in the normal puppy biting stage, but she should grow out of that with time, patience, and redirection. She loves stuffed animals, rope toys for tug-of-war, sticks, leaves, and, every now and then, she may try to steal a sock or shoe just to keep life interesting.   She is also a great car rider. On long rides, she will lay down and sleep, and she does not get carsick. At home, she is happy to curl up at your feet and sleep while you work at the computer, or settle into your lap while you watch TV. At night, she loves to sleep close to her person, preferably under the covers. She may still need a trip or two outside in the middle of the night, but she is learning to calm down when the lights go off.   Zara is healthy, at an ideal weight, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and current on heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention. She will need to be spayed when she is old enough. She has no known health concerns.   Zara Hope will do best in a home where she gets lots of attention, love, playtime, and chances to burn off her happy puppy energy. She loves going outside, but she also loves being inside with her people. She is the kind of puppy who wants to be with you all the time, including at night, and she will reward that closeness with endless affection. She is very well mannered for her age and does not need much work beyond normal puppy training and guidance. Whether she joins a home with another dog or becomes someone’s one-and-only best friend, Zara is ready to bring joy, laughter, snuggles, and hope to a very lucky family.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Pan: adventure buddy, puzzle master, and certified springtime gentleman. Pan has been having a great spring and is working hard to show the world what a good boy he can be. He has been joining weekly walks at Stone Mountain for extra visibility and enrichment, and he has been a perfect gentleman with the dogs he meets along the way. He’s social, curious, and happy to get out and explore with his people. Pan also had a fantastic holiday season. He spent Christmas at another home while his foster family traveled, and he did great with the resident dog. The two of them played nonstop, and Pan handled the change in routine like a champ. On New Year’s Eve, despite plenty of neighborhood fireworks, Pan was completely unfazed and slept through almost all of it. The longer Pan has been in foster, the more his sweet, cuddly side has come out. He loves being close to his people and will happily curl up at the foot of the bed when invited. Sometimes he even sneaks in for some cuddle time between his foster parents. Pan is an active, smart dog who does best with structure, boundaries, and enrichment. He has been working on recall and backyard boundaries, and his foster family has seen great progress. He’s also been enjoying puzzle feeders for dinner, which help tire out his brain and reduce some of his excess energy and neurotic barking. Like many smart dogs, Pan thrives when he has something to do. Pan is looking for a home that will continue giving him the guidance, routine, and activity he needs to succeed. He would love a family who enjoys walks, adventures, training, and letting him be part of daily life. He has done well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a playful canine friend with proper introductions. Pan is fun, affectionate, resilient, and so ready for his forever home. He has come such a long way, and now he just needs someone willing to give him the structure, love, and commitment he deserves. Pan is ready for spring adventures, couch cuddles, and a family of his own. Could that be you?Despite his energetic play style, Pan is super chill and relaxed at home. Once he's had his playtime, he’s all about lounging and soaking up affection. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and active best friend, Pan might just be your perfect match!

Story
" SEV " Sev is a young, affectionate, handsome 1.5 year old red and white husky pup with beautiful bi-colored (blue and copper) eyes. Sev was on a tether and did not have a safe yard to run and play to get his exercise, and will need a high secure fence (at least 6 ft tall) and with a reinforced bottom to prevent him digging out and looking for adventures. He does ok with other dogs his size, and loves to play but does not like to share his toys, and or food/treats. As with any working breed, Sev needs an active home with someone who can give him lots of time and attention, play, and yard time and take him for walks. Preferably someone who has experience with Sibes, and knows how to handle these escape artists! Being close to you physically is his favorite pastime- cuddling, and playing fetch and chewing on large antlers and husky toys. (*NO cats or small dogs, as he has a typical husky high prey drive. ) Sev is healthy, neutered, HW negative, and fully vetted.

Story
Athena is a rescue with a young heart and loving personality. She is 5 and a half years old and is playful. A perfect new home for her would be with a single man, or couple, that have a fenced in yard and time to devote to her. She is very protective, almost to a fault. I would describe her as curious, loyal and strong. Athena is crate trained and the crate will come with her along with a few other supplies/toys. She is not house trained. She has had obedience training, but it wasn't reinforced which has led to the behavioral issues. The primary issue is that she shows some aggression towards people and other animals by barking, raising her hair on the back of her neck and trying to go toward them, just know that she has bitten no one or attacked any animal. Her on leash training needs to be refreshed. She loves her owner and is sweet and playful in the house.
