Story
Max Monterro came into our care after his original owners were deported&#44 leaving this sweet boy without the family who loved him. Now hes searching for a new home-one that will love him just as much as they did.

Max is a fluffy&#44 affectionate cuddle-bug with medium energy and a heart full of love. He adores treats and will happily bury his face in your apron or pockets to look for more. On walks&#44 he does his own little thing-sometimes walking in small circles-but overall hes easy to handle as long as youre aware it wont be your typical stroll.

Although Max has not been officially dog tested&#44 he was polite when seeing another dog through the fence&#44 offering a quick sniff before choosing to continue on his way. More than anything&#44 Max is a gentle&#44 wonderful boy who wants a soft place to land and a family to call his own.

If youre looking for a sweet&#44 loving companion with endless cuddles to give&#44 Max Monterro is ready to meet you.

Story
Meet Mushka.

Mushka is a sweet&#44 sensitive husky girl who is looking for a calm&#44 patient home where she can truly blossom. She can be shy and hesitant with new people-especially men-and needs time&#44 consistency&#44 and gentle reassurance to feel safe. But once she trusts you&#44 Mushkas soft side shines through and she becomes a devoted snuggle buddy who loves being close to her people.

Mushka gets along well with other dogs and even cats (though she may try to engage them in play)&#44 and she would likely do best with older children who understand how to give her space when she needs it. Shes a quieter husky who isnt overly vocal and would make a wonderful companion for peaceful trail walks or hikes on less crowded paths.

She is crate trained&#44 about 90% house trained&#44 and knows basic commands like sit and shake. Shes still polishing her leash skills but is already off to a solid start. Mushka does show mild resource guarding-mostly around food and occasionally toys-but she has never shown aggression or reactivity.

Mushkas ideal home would be a lower-key environment with someone who is home often and willing to give her the time and patience she needs to decompress and build trust. A confident canine companion would be a bonus&#44 but not a requirement. With love&#44 structure&#44 and understanding&#44 Mushka will reward her person with deep loyalty and quiet affection.

If youre looking for a gentle soul who just needs a little extra TLC to feel safe&#44 Mushka may be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Hercules — Your New Low‑Maintenance Best Friend 35 lb “Beasky” (Husky/Beagle) Mellow - Low‑Maintenance - Rarely Barks - Still Loves Walks Hercules may be turning 15 in June, but he’s still spry enough to outrun his humans and happy to join you for relaxed daily walks. When he’s not exploring the neighborhood, he’s perfectly content snoozing in his kennel and enjoying a quiet home life. He’s gentle, calm, and prefers a peaceful environment without lots of fast‑moving small children. He coexists fine with our 3‑year‑old but mostly keeps to himself. Belly rubs, slow strolls, and companionship are his love language. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing dog who asks for little and gives a lot, Hercules is ready to be your loyal, low‑maintenance companion.

Story
Kia is a husky/terrier mix with the clearest sky blue eyes. She is loving and very people friendly. She is flat coated with white and red spots. She is 31 lbs and she is 5 months old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She gets excited when going on walks, as all puppies do, but she has an overall very calm demeanor. She is working on her leash skills and she is not reactive to other dogs. She is a perfect little girl. l
