With his striking black-and-white coat and bright, intelligent expression, he immediately catches attention — but it’s his gentle, hopeful energy that makes people linger. He walks beautifully on a leash, taking his time to explore without pulling or rushing, and he’s incredibly polite when offered treats, accepting them with soft, grateful manners. He also appears to be potty trained, which gives a great head start to settling comfortably into a home. Auggie stays relaxed and unbothered when he sees other dogs at the shelter. If you have a resident dog at home, you’re welcome to bring them for a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a good match for Auggie. Introducing the incredible Kuno Da! He was brought to the shelter on 1/8 because he went on an adventure and became lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick mission to find a forever home that will keep him safe and secure so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Kuno Da is only a year old and weighs a mere 51lbs. The volunteers describe him as beautiful, sweet, cute, friendly, energetic. He gets excited when you get him out of the kennel so he pulls on the leash. But once you get him out he is fine walking out with thinking about the leash. He just ready to explore the world! It takes the right person to be patient with him and train him proper leash etiquette. Don't give up on him so quickly! He is a smart, young gentleman as he knows simple commands such as sit when asked especially for treats. He may know more! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 17; his ID is 16234. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing your forever pup. please make sure you have the proper space, time, energy, devotion, love, patience and lifestyle to ensure Kuno Da has the best upbringing possible. Please also keep in mind he is a breed that could use a daily routine to keep him mentally and physically stimulated so he does not become bored and wonder off and explore just to get lost again. He needs someone to be fully committed to train him regularly. A fenced in area would also benefit to curb excessive energy he may have. Time, commitment, and patience are the basic keys to ensure Kuno Da has the best most stable life going forward. Kuno Da is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms.
