Story
This is a Courtesy Post for Canine Crusaders of Atlanta.  Please contact them directly for more info on Kacy at caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com Meet Kacy, a 1 1/2 year-old, female husky mix, who’s as sweet as they come! Kacy is extremely loving and has the best personality. She really does love everyone she meets! She‘s extremely smart and listens very well. She sits, shakes and will lie down on command. Kacy weighs around 45 lbs, grown, with a lean build. Another great thing is she doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!!  She is great in the house and a non-chewer and is fun, spunky, loves walks, car rides and especially belly rubs!  ***Kacy must have a fenced yard, needs an 8 ft fence.  6 ft fences are unfortunately not tall enough for this smart girl! Very smart and a great companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2023, 11:05 am

Story
Crystol was brought by another family because they were moving and then couldn’t return to get him back. He is very active and very friendly. Besides the landlord don’t accepting pets we don’t have the sufficient time to take care of him and right now he spends a lot of time in the basement because if we let him unleash in the backyard he will jump the fence and he can get run over by a car because there is a very busy street close by. It is really hard to give him up. He is a very good dog but he needs someone that can spend more time with him and a place were he doesn’t have to be inside a room most of the day but be outside running and exploring. So if anybody is up to the task please give him a chance so he can be happy.

Story
Blaze is a SWEET boy, that I rescued from Barkville in 2020. He’s house trained & super chill! He’s more interested in people, than other dogs, yet gets along with ALL! I gauge him at approximately 5 years old. He doesn’t care too much for his yearly shots, so now I have him sedated first, after a fecal test in the past that shot his nerves. He sheds like the dickens, but I’m sure he’d do well with a trimmed down coat. Honestly, he’s quite content, but I think he could potentially be happier. My kids range from college to just out of grade school. I’m also a single mom, recently starting a new career in healthcare. He’s a husky mix, with territory roaming built into his DNA. We don’t even have a fenced in yard to offer. lol! The basis for this application is because we all stay SO Busy & on the move. At the end of the day, we only want what’s best for Blaze! I’m hopeful someone, somewhere out there can provide that!!

Story
Kona is a 5 year old Husky who needs someone to take care of his heart condition. He has a heart murmur and cannot run as much as other huskies but does need attention and energy exertion activities to reduce his anxiety. Currently he is living with anxiety causing him to tear his hair off his body making him appear skinny and thin. Kona is on a Hill Science Diet which doesn’t provide enough protein for him which is causing the skin infections. He itches all over his body and the vet prescribed him shots but they don’t work. I need a new home for him that’ll feed him right, play with him, give him proper training and who’ll address these health issues. He is really loyal and sweet under all those problems and i hope he can fit in your home. Please reach out to me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx or xxxx@xxxx.x .

Story
Luna is an amazing dog hands down. She just really deserves a furever home with a back yard where she can run and play all day long. She is still young so her energy level is up there. The only reason for rehoming is solely based on the fact that she needs a backyard and it’s not fair of me to keep her without one. Luna is 2 years old currently I’m assuming. I found Luna after she ran away from home February 2022 and I assumed she was 1 then and so did the vet I took her to. Only thing I find is a requirement for lunas new owners is that they have a backyard.
