He knows, sit, stay, lay down, and in order to go to his kennel, he resonds to "go home". But due to my schedule, I am unable to continue to keep him. My dog Rio is three years old & perfect mix of husky, pitbull, and rottweiler. He has the energy of all three combined always running around, always ready to play, and never running out of excitement for life. Rio loves bacon more than anything, and the moment he hears a wrapper or smells food, he is right there wagging his tail like it’s the best day ever. Even with all that energy, he is the sweetest dog. He absolutely loves being petted, cuddled, and talked to. He is super friendly with everyone he meets, and his happy personality makes him the kind of dog people instantly fall in love with. Rio is full of life, full of love, and truly one of a kind.

Roof, my name is Brody! I am a 4 year old Siberian Husky that loves to play, nap and take long walks. My friends describe me as playful, goofy, loving and always making room for treats with lots of huggies in between. You may have seen my cousins on social media but rest assured we 'huskies' are not all the same. Granted, I do shed, however, I love getting groomed and don't mind the vet. I also don't yell at the top of my lungs like a fire truck! I am really quiet and sometimes camera shy when it comes to selfies. I am professionally trained and occasionally need a few gentle reminders because I get so excited when it's time to go outside. I absolutely love car rides and playing with my pack friends at daycare. You would be my perfect match if you work from home, very active (ie. walking/biking/hiking 2-5 miles a day), have a backyard for me to exhaust my zoomies and/or have experience with my fellow husky family. I'd love to meet you and hope we can be future roomies!

We love Suka so much that we think it is best for her to be in a home where there’s plenty of yard and room for her. We don’t have a yard, she loves being outside. We live in a small townhome we don’t have outdoor access to. She’s loving, very calm and is nothing like your usual husky. She’s quiet, smart, potty trained and a very clean doggy. She’s also friendly with other dogs.

Story
I am a disabled veteran and over 65. An active duty friend of mine adopted Bucky as a puppy and was then shipped overseas for an extended period. He and his wife subsequently divorced and as his wife did not want the, at the time--puppy, he asked me to care for Bucky until his return. He has since been stationed overseas for at least the next 3 years. He has no recourse other than giving up Bucky. I cannot care for two high energy dogs as I currently have a German Shepherd of my own. Bucky needs his rabies shot, but he is current on everything else. He is a very friendly young dog, barely 18 months old. He currently lives with a cat and a dog. The cat is standoffish, and Bucky tries to make friends, to no avail. However, he gets along great with my dog. His encounters with other people has been friendly. He is crate trained, housebroken and readily learns new commands. I have not been able to give him the training or attention a young, high energy, dog deserves.
