Story
Meet Blue! 💙🐾 Blue is an absolutely stunning 11-month-old Husky with one icy blue eye and one warm brown — the kind of gaze that stops you in your tracks. His coat is thick, soft, and perfectly marked, and that smile? Completely contagious. He’s sweet, funny, and full of personality. Blue “talks” to you in that classic Husky way and has a goofy, playful charm that will keep you laughing. He’s super smart and picks up on new things quickly — crate trained, housebroken, and eager to please. Blue has a healthy amount of energy and would thrive with an active family who can give him some daily exercise or outdoor adventures. He’s friendly and does great with kids and other dogs, but would do best in a cat-free home since his instincts may lead him to chase them. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home — Blue is more than just gorgeous; he’s the whole package. ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

SWEETS NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Sweets         Best Guess for Breed: Husky and whippet mix Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of September 2025        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  38 lbs   Gets Along With:  Sweets is good with other dogs and has lived with cats. We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Because Sweets is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes.   Check out cute photos and videos of Colton on our foster Instagram account. Look for stories and posts: @luckydogrescues   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Sweets is Looking For:  His forever home with another dog! This great pup is friendly, loving, and social with people and pups alike! He was in foster care in Texas for a while and his foster said he interacted with dogs and cats and did very well with both - he was quite happy when animals of both species were around. She also said he's good on leash, loves walks, and is good in the car.    In the shelter, he's been dog friendly and loves playing with other dogs. Yeah all that is great but you know what he wants most of all? To have his own humans, to be safe and loved, to know where he belongs. He promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is he the one for your heart and your home? What My DC Area Foster Says About Me: Sweets is as sweet as they get. He is very loyal and loving. A bit shy but with love, he has been quick to learn to trust that all loud noises are not scary. He is great with dogs and really enjoys their company, in fact the dog park is one of his favorite places! He is also good with cats and children. He knows recall very well and is very smart so any other tricks you want to teach him, won’t be hard to do. He doesn’t bark much but his presence is definitely known by his sweet personality and his beautiful, piercing, blue eyes.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
** Current location: in a boarding house in South Korea ** Meet Koko with two beautiful blue eyes👋 Turning 5 months old, Koko was discovered in March 2023, trembling in front of the shelter in Korea. His previous owner had left him there with a message saying that he could no longer care for him due to personal reasons. The poor pup had been abandoned without a collar or leash. Despite his fear, Koko did not run away and remained on the spot, waiting for help. Ever since then, he’s been living in a boarding house, patiently waiting for his forever home! • Personality: Friendly, Energetic, Happy Initially, Koko was very nervous and frightened during his first days at the boarding house. However, he quickly warmed up to the staff and other dogs and is now a very happy and playful boy. Koko loves spending time with his humans, especially sitting outside on the grass and basking in the sun. His energy level is high. He would be a great fit for a family who enjoys outdoor activities and can spend ample time with him. • Affinity with - Dogs: He enjoys playing with other dogs. No aggression toward others. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Older teens would be more suitable for his energy. • Walking Manners: Not much experienced - in training • Housetrained: Koko will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a new environment. • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates them just fine • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: A little bit when he greets people • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 7-8 • Likes/Dislikes: Koko loves running around and playing with his people and friends! • Health: A healthy boy!
