Story
Violet is a 8-month-old Husky who came into my care in January after being abandoned with a relative who couldn’t keep her. Since then, she’s been safe, deeply loved, and well cared for. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to ongoing challenges in my household, I can’t give her the environment she truly needs to thrive. She is a young, high-energy pup currently living with an older, smaller dog, and their activity levels and temperaments are very different. She’s still working on house training and can be mischievous when left unattended. She initially struggled with crating but she’s been improving. She’s escaped our yard due to a low fence, but is microchipped and was safely returned. Violet would do best in a patient, active home with space, structure, and time to continue her training and the exercise a young husky needs. I love her and truly just want her to find a home where she can grow, be happy, and be loved by a family who will help her reach her full potential.

Story
Misty is from Puerto Rico. It was an ongoing joke when I adopted her that I’d have to give out her commands in Spanish since she refused in English. She’s a stubborn teenage girl (2 years old), but there is hope for training her if you have the time. She loves walks and is perfect for an introvert with a small circle. I got Misty in May, and the first thing I noticed about her is that she’s somewhat socially anxious, but she’s easily won over with food, treats, and walks. Over the month, she has gained a lot more confidence in the company of other people. Given her husky heritage she is a heavy shedder, a warning for the those with smaller homes, and small wardrobes. An ideal home for her is one with some type of open space, that be a yard, or a park thats nearby.

  Meet Lil Bit!!
