With her thick fur coat and unusual eyes - one amber and other blue - she is a striking girl. In November 2023 Harlequin's life changed in an instant. A local farmer noticed a car slow down on a road nearby, the door opened and someone dumped her before they drove away. Alone with a chronic skin condition that had caused her to lose a lot of her fur she was a sorry sight. The farmer called Soi Dog Foundation for help as she realized Harlequin eeded medical treatment for her skin. A rescue team collected her and brought her to the shelter for treatment and saftery. Since she arrived Harlequin has blossomed into a sweet, friendly, social dog. She loves exploring the world and says hello to everyone she meets. Baby...Babishka!!! Babishka came into the rescue while she was still in the womb of her mama, Mama-ishka! A good samaritan reached out to us to help Mama. She was a regular stray in the neighborhood especially after her owners up and left her behind. They moved and didn't bother to take her with them. Babishka is the runt of the litter. She is adorable, sweet, and loves to give kisses. She is at times quiet within the five puppies in her litter. She will sit back and watch everything around her. She is a smart girl! Babishka has taken to learning her puppy lessons from her mama very well. Mama-ishka has taught the kids that you don't pee/poo in your bed area nor near your food. Babishka is being kennel trained. She falls asleep by 10pm and wakes up bright and happy at 7:30am. She is also being potty trained. She will wake up and quickly make her way to the backyard door. She will even wake up from her naps and cry out to let us know she has to pee. She is a FAST learner! But, considering her very young age she will need continued training to help her be the best pup that she can be. She's at the perfect age to introduce into any home! This little girl is also a HUGE LOVE BUG!!! She does love to be petted, held, cuddled, etc. She will happily look at you with her big brown eyes and give you a big wet kiss! Arrow!!! Those ears have shot up STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW since she was born!!!! Arrow came into the A.M.O.R. rescue while still in the womb of her Siberian Husky momma! Her momma was an owner surrender in another rescue and was adopted. But then it was realized that momma was pregnant. And was two weeks away from giving birth. Momma's adopter patiently waited for 9weeks until the babies were ready and weaned from momma. Arrow is fast, cute, cuddly, smart, fiesty, agile....EVERYTHING you love in a puppy! Her favorite hobby right now is chewing a cow hoof! She is also learning the word NO. She understands that some things are a NO NO such as nibbling too hard! But, at times, the urge is too much and she has to and forgets that it is not nice. She is still cute and cuddly though! She is also learning all about naps and being kenneled and potty training. She is learning that there is a schedule to the day. Wake up, and go pee and poo outside at 7:30am. Then it is play time. Then eat some breakfast kibble. Then we poop again. Then it is more play time. Back inside for a nap by 9am. Then it is outside again at 11:30am for a pee/poo/play. A small snack at that time is had. And back in kennel for another nap at 1:30pm. Up and outside again at 4pm for pee/poo/play. Kibble Dinner is at 5:30pm. Lots of hard puppy playing happens from 4-6:30pm. She loves to run inside and show off her agile skills. She is one of the few in her litter than can jump on the couch at this point. She shows off that skill every chance she gets and irritates her brothers and sisters! The last nap of day happens from 6:30-8pm. And then the last pee/poo/play break happens from 8:00-9:30pm. Bedtime is by 10pm. Arrow sleeps the whole night through and no longer makes a mess in her kennel. If she ever needs to potty while in her kennel, she is quick to whine and bark a bit to let us know that she has to potty and needs out SOOOOON!!! She is a very SMART girl to know that we don't pee/poo where we sleep! But, as a puppy, she will still need training in this aspect for the first year of her life.
