Story
Luna was taken off the hands of a bad family, and i decided to take her in and take care of her for the time being. She is the sweetest dog and loves everyone and everything, super curious, and great companion. She needs training and time, something i cannot give her at the moment as i have more urgent responsibilities. She is a pure bred husky, female, 37 lbs and 7 months old. I am just asking for the money i used to get her vaccines.

Story
Bowie is a special boy is looking for his special home. Please read Bowie's entire profile before inquiring or applying for him. Bowie, born around January 2022, is approximately 60 lbs of mischief and joy. He is 50% Husky, 40% Poodle, 10% lab and 100% total energy! He is best thought of as a goofy and playful puppy. They call him 'the missile' at the park as he rockets into the park with excitement. Bowie and his sister Margo originally came from the south to a local shelter. The shelter determined that both dogs would thrive better in a foster home and they came to All Dog Rescue. While they are bonded and we would love to see them adopted together, they can be adopted separately as long as there is a confident resident dog who can help them become the best they can be. Bowie thrives being with other dogs and is his playful, goofy self in canine company. He has not done well as the only dog in a household but will consider an 'only-dog' home on a case-by-case basis. He loves to wrestle in the yard, play chase with the other dogs, and play keep-away with his favorite stuffed toys. A perfect day for him involves playing in the dog park, going on walks, and playing in the back yard. Bowie gets very excited when he sees his leash because he enjoys his walks so much He can get a little too excited when he sees other dogs or critters but his special harness helps with that. Bowie also settles down and curls up on the sofa with his foster mom. He is house-trained, does very well in the car, and looks forward to every meal. Bowie's ideal home is an adult-only, dog savvy, home with a confident, playful dog of similar size and activity level. He can be too much for senior dogs. While a fenced-in backyard would be the best for him as he has a ton of energy to burn, he may do well if he can go to a dog park daily. He has a high prey drive so he cannot be offleash unless fenced in. We are working on him being left alone in the company of other dogs. He will need someone who is often home or willing to take him to doggie daycare until he can be left alone for a longer time period. Note that while is mixed with a poodle, we do not consider him hypoallergenic. Many people with dog allergies have experienced allergic reactions in his presence. Bowie is microchipped, neutered, on flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and up to date on his shots. *Ask us about adopting Bowie and his sister Margo. Bowie is being fostered in Newry, ME and Cambridge, MA. His adoption fee is $450. If you think that your lifestyle is a good match for Bowie, please apply for him at http://alldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/ Bowie's foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours.

Story
Margo is a special girl is looking for her special home. Please read Margo's entire profile before inquiring or applying for her. Margo, is a spayed female, born around January 2022, and weighs approximately 55 -lbs. She is 50% Husky, 40% Poodle, and 10% Lab. Margo and her brother, Bowie, originally came from the south to a local shelter. The shelter determined that both dogs would thrive better in a foster home and they came to All Dog Rescue. While they are bonded and we would love to see them adopted together, they can be adopted separately. We prefer her new home has a confident resident dog who can help them become the best they can be, but will consider an 'only dog' home on a case-by-case basis. Margo adores being outdoors and is happy in the snow and hiking trails and walking through towns when she is in Maine. She also likes her walks when she is in Cambridge and in both locations hanging out in a fenced in yard. She has a ton of energy to burn and would love an active home. She does well in the car and is a fan-favorite at the dog park. Margo continues to progress with her social skills but still can be skittish. She can be leery of new people in her home. She may run away from new people or anxiously bark at them but shows no sign of aggression. She looks to other dogs in her home for guidance in these situations and will calm down if the other dog has appropriate behavior. She also gets anxious when her human is away. Margo is a work in progress and needs someone who is dedicated helping her continue to grow and thrive. The ideal situation for is an adult-only home with a confident, active, playful dog of a similar size and energy level that can help Margo continue to make strides. Her dog-savvy owner will need to continue with her positive training and be willing to work with a trainer. She will need someone who is home often or will bring her to doggie daycare until she gets more confident being on her own. This may be a lot to ask but seeing Margo happily play and grow more confident is more than worth it. Margo is microchipped, spayed, on flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and up to date on her shots. *Ask us about adopting Margo and her brother Bowie. Margo is being fostered in Newry, ME and Cambridge, MA. Her adoption fee is $450. If you think that your lifestyle is a good match for Margo, please apply for her at http://alldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/ Margo's foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours.

Story
Hi my name is Ace.  I am a 1 year old husky who weighs 45 lbs.  I have been through a lot in my short life.  Mr. Edgar rescued me as a puppy from a man who was not taking care of me and leaving we outside.  He could not keep me because his young son was very allergic to me so he contact Miss Vivienne for help.  She found me a great home but after 2 children and one on the way my mom and dad decided it was time for me to go back to Miss Vivienne.  She found me a wonderful foster home while I wait for my true forever family to find me.  Miss Jennifer is taking great care of me.  I get plenty of exercise and I love playing with her big dog.  We have the best time.  I did not know what I was missing and really prefer life with another dog.  I walk well on a leash after short walk where I pull you all over the place.  We are working on that and I am improving.  I adore other dogs and love going to doggie daycare.  I am smart too.  I am housebroken and I know several commands.  I am very treat motivated so training me with a morsel or two really helps.  I am happy here but ready to find my forever home.  I need an ACTIVE family and a fenced in yard is a MUST.  If you are a runner or a hiker then I am the companion you have been looking for.  My forever family must have husky experience.  I am neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Ace is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)July 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission.
