Story
We rescued him from Long Meadow, and he is around 2.5 years old. He is a very sweet, loving, playful, and loyal boy with lots of energy. He is extremely active and would do best with an active household that can give him plenty of exercise and attention. He is also a great escape artist and can easily clear a 4-foot fence, so a secure yard is a must. We have two other huskies, and although he is the youngest, he tends to be the dominant one. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, including small dogs, but slow introductions are recommended. We are unsure about cats. He is very curious about squirrels and bunnies and will try to chase them. He is not fully house-trained because he currently has easy access to our backyard whenever he needs to go. He is up to date on his vaccinations and receives Simparica Trio monthly. He would be a wonderful companion for an active, patient family, preferably one familiar with huskies or other high-energy dogs.

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 29, 2026, 12:15 pm

Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
