Meet Glacia!This gorgeous lady is a two year old husky mix with the most STUNNING eyes...even when she's judging every life choice that you have ever made, that your ancestors have ever made, and that your children will ever make (as seen in photo #3). She's a sturdy girl at about 57lbs so not TOO big.Glacia's passions include hanging out with her people and having the absolute BEST manners on her walks. She's very polite on a leash and barely pulls and she's super, SUPER smart - she listens to corrections, comes when called, and knows her basics. She's content to just plop herself between your feet and soak up some love - she hasn't shown to be TOO high energy but can be prone to zoomies like any dog.Glacia seems to be selective with other dogs - she is not aggressive but is very uncertain and definitely would not do well with a dog that wants to be up in her face right off the bat. She may be fine with the right dog after a few meet and greets here at the shelter and a long, slow introduction...or she may do best as the only dog. She hasn't shown any red flags with cats - one of our cats hissed at her and she immediately turned around and left like, nope, not today. Meet Antonio! Antonio is a sweet husky boy, he's playful, energetic, but after a long walk and he's burnt up all his crazy energy, Antonio is a total smushy lap dog. He can be a little shy around new people, but give him a little time to get to know you and he'll be your best friend. Antonio is a high energy, dramatic, and vocal dog who thrives on daily affection, exercise, and enrichment. He's endlessly charming with his antics (the water bowl spill is his favorite naughty move) and could likely get a job as a stand-up comedian. Antonio would do best in a teens+ household, but he's lived with other dogs before and done well. He did come to PARL with Bianca and would be able to go home with her if someone wanted to adopt them together. He has no experience with cats and if he were to go home to a household with resident cats, he would need a slow and careful introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals involved. Meet Patrick! This husky is a petite gentleman, he is smaller than a standard husky usually is. He is most likely around 3-4 years old. He is a very well behaved little boy. He knows how to sit, and he takes his treats nicely. Pat is also relatively quiet for a husky. Most huskies are big fans of water, but he is a little intimidated by it, from what we've seen. He is fairly calm but he will do zoomies if you get him excited. Generally, Patrick comes seeking affection from people. He loves to be pet and would love to find someone to give him a good brushing! This is Keenai he’s a little over a year old & his birthday is March 10th 2025. He’s super sweet once he adjusts to new people or surroundings. He was bought off of an old family friend who was having a rough time with handling him & his 4 siblings. He’s never been a bad dog, he just likes to have fun as any puppy does honestly. He’s good with tricks but a little iffy with commands. As much as Id love to bring him with me when i move i can’t for obvious reasons like size, behavior, etc.
