Story
Say hello to Paris! This vibrant girl is the absolute life of the party, and she’s looking for a family that can keep up with her playful spirit. She was brought to a shelter in MS months ago and never claimed. She was immediately ready to charm everyone she met! With her medium-high energy level, she loves to jump around and play, so she’ll need someone who can provide plenty of exercise and engagement. When it comes to other dogs, Paris is overly playful and wants to jump, bounce, and stay engaged. She would do best with a canine companion who tolerates and enjoys active play and can keep up with her fun-loving energy. While her leash manners could use some work, she wants to please, so will listen and learn. Paris is truly a sweetheart who deserves a loving home. She is ready to bring joy to your life. If you’re ready for a fun-loving companion, Paris is waiting to steal your heart!Name: ParisBreed: Husky MixSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 48.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: Unknown, but probably not due to her level of excitability.Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Cindy Lou! This beautiful senior Siberian Husky is searching for the forever home and loving family she deserves. After going through a difficult chapter in her life, Cindy Lou is now healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start with someone she can truly call her own. This girl was found very emaciated in the MS woods. Her finder kept her for a bit and then placed her in a rescue foster home. Surprising to all, she gave birth to two puppies shortly after arriving there. Now that she has successfully finished taking care of them, she is ready to be adopted.Cindy Lou absolutely adores affection. Her favorite thing is to flop over for endless belly rubs and soak up all the love she can get. She also enjoys calm, relaxing walks and spending quiet time with her people. While she does enjoy having her large stuffed toys nearby, she’s proven to be very gentle with them — she’d much rather lounge around, nap, and enjoy the easygoing life these days.If you’re looking for a sweet, laid-back companion with a loving heart and gentle spirit, Cindy Lou could be the perfect addition to your family.Name: Cindy LouBreed: Siberian Husky/Crossbreed   Sex: FemaleAge: 8 years  (estimated)Weight: 60.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive, but has completed her treatment!!Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $400.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
What a handsome boy Foster is! He’s a 2.5 year old husky mix, weighing about 50 lbs. Foster’s an active pup who enjoys playing with his toys and the great outdoors, where he loves laying around and chasing birds, even in cold weather. He’s not much of a fetch guy and prefers playing independently with his toys. Foster seems to have a preference toward women. He’s great on walks and stays right by your side, but hold tight if he sees birds or other small critters, as he loves chasing them! He can also be leash reactive to other dogs on walks.  While foster enjoys playing with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet in a calm adult home with grown children. He wants all the love and attention for himself and does not like to share, especially his food with other dogs. He is a bit anxious in the car and when going to new places, but really enjoys adventures, once familiar with the place. Foster is a big cuddler, especially at the end of the day when everyone’s home, settled, and relaxing together watching TV.  He wants to be right there with you and will follow you everywhere! He likes knowing everyone is safe, as he feels it’s his job to protect his people. Foster is house and crate trained, up to date, neutered and microchipped.     May 22, 2026, 11:01 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Truffle is a 4-year-old love bug with the sweetest soul and the kind of face you’ll fall for instantly—just one look into those eyes and you’re hooked! This beautiful girl is all about connection, affection, and being close to her people. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and some gentle reassurance, and you’ll quickly see her warm, loving personality shine through. Once she feels comfortable, Truffle truly blossoms and becomes an affectionate, devoted companion. She would absolutely love a home with a yard where she can roll around in the grass, soak up the sunshine, and happily chew on a bone during a relaxing afternoon. It’s her idea of pure bliss! At 4 years old, she’s the perfect balance of playful and settled—past the puppy chaos but still full of life and love to give. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will shower you with affection and be your constant companion, Truffle is your girl. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 304-283-0066.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 17, 2026, 12:22 am

Story
Ella is a beautiful 3.5-year-old, 55-pound husky with stunning blue eyes looking for her perfect home! This sweet girl absolutely loves people and is ready for a family to share life’s adventures with. Ella is an active, fun-loving husky who enjoys going to the dog park, where she loves to run and chase other dogs while playing. She also loves going for hikes and exploring the outdoors with her people. One of Ella’s favorite things in the world? Car rides! She loves sticking her head out the window and “biting” at the wind with pure joy on her face. At home, Ella enjoys relaxing outside, happily watching people walk by the house and taking in the world around her. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who loves people, enjoys the outdoors, and will happily ride shotgun on every errand, Ella may be your perfect match! She has not lived with young children so we'd prefer teenagers for her. Ella's adoption includes, spay, rabies, vaccines, microchip, and 6 months flea/heartworm prevention. She comes with her records. Transport and a health check from a licensed veterinarian also included. Ella lives on an Alabama foster home and will transport when adopted. Next transport delivers 6/5. We have lowered her fee $200 because she's already been in Rescue for six months. Her Foster Mom loves her and think she's a wonderful dog, but we rescue dogs to find them homes. $385 total adoption fee includes transportation. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online and we will be with you ASAP. Story
Meet Baloo! Baloo is a 3-year-old shepherd/husky mix with a playful, affectionate personality and a love for adventure. He’s an easygoing, social dog who has successfully lived with both dogs and cats and loves making new dog friends. His previous caretaker described him as generally submissive and very friendly with people. Baloo is crate trained but has been trustworthy free roaming the home without destructive behavior or accidents. He knows “sit,” “paw,” and “down,” enjoys food and toys, and loves outdoor activities like walks, car rides, and swimming. He especially enjoys tough chew toys and playing with other dogs. Because of his goofy excitement, Baloo would likely do best with children 5+. He has no history of aggression or bites and has reportedly always done well for grooming and veterinary handling. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who’s always ready for an adventure or a cuddle, Baloo may be your guy! Apply to adopt today, and/or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions! 🐾
