Story
Meet Davis! Davis has come such a long way from his rough beginnings. Found living outside on a chain with little human interaction, he was shy and unsure of the world. With patience and love from his foster family, Davis has blossomed into a happy, playful pup with a quirky personality and the most mesmerizing ice-blue eyes. This medium-energy boy loves romping and wrestling with his dog siblings—he’s learned so much about how to be a dog from them! Because of this, Davis would thrive in a home with other well-socialized dogs to keep teaching him and to share in playtime. He also needs a securely fenced yard where he can run, chase, and play to his heart’s content.Davis is housetrained, crate trained, and travels well in the car (though he’s still getting used to it). On leash, he can be a little timid in new situations, but he walks politely and is gaining confidence every day. He doesn’t have a history with children, and he will need a cat-free home as he shows prey drive toward small animals. While Davis is much braver than when he was first rescued, he’s still easily startled by loud noises or quick movements—so he’ll need a patient, understanding family who will give him time to adjust. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the sweetest husky-style “talking” when he gets excited. If you’re looking for a resilient, playful, and affectionate pup who’s ready to continue his journey in a loving forever home, Davis may be the one for you.Name: DavisBreed: Husky/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 55 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Treatment completed 11/25/25Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: No has high prey drive.Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet the most affectionate, playful, and curious puppies, siblings Erian, Evan, and Elysia. These babies are your typical pups that thoroughly enjoy playtime, full bellies, and lots of love. These precious ones had a heartbreaking start to life. They were found huddled together in the middle of a quiet country road, so small they were first mistaken for fallen branches and leaves. At just around six weeks old, they were covered in fleas and ticks and were desperately hungry. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and are now safe, warm, and thriving in foster care. They start each morning with food, outdoor play, and soak up plenty of snuggles throughout the day. Because they are so young, they are highly adaptable. A household with children and/or other dogs would be a wonderful fit, as they love to play and would benefit from having companions to grow up with. Most of all, they’re looking for safe, loving family who will be dedicated to giving them immediate proper puppy training to set them up for success, support socialization, and build a strong bond with their new people. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Name: ElysiaBreed: Husky/ShepherdSex: Age: 8 weeksWeight: 5.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Story
Leo Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! A sweet and resilient boy who is ready for a fresh start. His former family loved him deeply but fell on hard times, living in their car while trying to keep him safe. Now Leo is looking for an understanding family to call his own. Leo is friendly with dogs, people, and kids ten and older. He lived with two dogs before and would do best in a home with another friendly dog for companionship. He is very affectionate, energetic, and loves hiking with his foster. When the fun is done, he’s happiest curled up beside you. Leo is experiencing separation anxiety, so he needs someone who works from home and can help him feel secure as he learns that being alone is okay. With patience, structure, and another dog by his side, Leo will learn he is safe again. **Due to clinic delays: this puppy will be available for adoption with the collection of an additional $100 spay/neuter voucher deposit, which will be refunded upon receipt of successful procedure at our partnering clinic. Story
Ollie Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Ollie is a stunning husky, border collie, Great Pyrenees mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. This pup is always ready for an adventure and enjoys being by his person’s side, whether that means car rides, exploring, or just hanging out together. Ollie is smart, treat motivated, and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. He’s still a baby and will thrive with an experienced, active home that can continue his training and socialization. Ollie would love an active, playful doggy pal in his home and would do best with older, dog savvy kids. A fenced yard is preferred so he can safely burn off energy and enjoy his puppy fun. Ollie has so much potential and is ready to grow into an amazing companion with the right family.
