Story
Meet the most affectionate, playful, and curious puppies, siblings Erian, Evan, and Elysia. These babies are your typical pups that thoroughly enjoy playtime, full bellies, and lots of love. These precious ones had a heartbreaking start to life. They were found huddled together in the middle of a quiet country road, so small they were first mistaken for fallen branches and leaves. At just around six weeks old, they were covered in fleas and ticks and were desperately hungry. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and are now safe, warm, and thriving in foster care. They start each morning with food, outdoor play, and soak up plenty of snuggles throughout the day. Because they are so young, they are highly adaptable. A household with children and/or other dogs would be a wonderful fit, as they love to play and would benefit from having companions to grow up with. Most of all, they’re looking for safe, loving family who will be dedicated to giving them immediate proper puppy training to set them up for success, support socialization, and build a strong bond with their new people. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Name: Erian Breed: Husky/ShepherdSex: Female Age: 11 weeksWeight: 13lbSpayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Toby!Toby is ready for his next big journey, Toby is a fun-loving, adventure-seeking husky with a zest for life. Like many huskies, he’s curious, energetic, and happiest when he’s out exploring the world with his people.Toby is friendly and gentle, and does great with other dogs—he’d love a canine companion or regular playdates. He walks well on a leash, travels nicely, is house-trained, and crate trained, making him a wonderful companion both at home and on the go. Whether it’s walks, hikes, car rides, patio hangouts, or new sniffing adventures, Toby is always ready to join in.Cats, however, are a no-go for Toby. He’s genuinely terrified of them, likely due to a past experience, so a cat-free home is needed.Toby’s history includes living in a busy home with multiple children. Unfortunately, he’s also an escape artist—he cannot be left unattended in a yard, as he will find his own adventure. Because of this, he’s looking for a home where he’s truly included in daily life rather than left outside alone. An active individual or family who understands the husky lifestyle and wants to make Toby part of their adventures. He needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation to thrive—and in return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, joy, and an infectious enthusiasm for life.Toby is ready to find a home that will embrace his spirit and keep him safely by their side on every adventure.Name: TobyBreed: HuskySex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 55lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over age 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
What a handsome boy Foster is! He’s a 2.5 year old husky mix, weighing about 50 lbs. Foster’s an active pup who enjoys playing with his toys and the great outdoors, where he loves laying around and chasing birds, even in cold weather. He’s not much of a fetch guy and prefers playing independently with his toys. He’s great on walks and stays right by your side, without any pulling. He doesn’t bark at other people or dogs on walks, but hold tight if he sees birds or other small critters, as he loves chasing them! While foster enjoys playing with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet in a calm adult home with grown children. He wants all the love and attention for himself and does not like to share, especially his food with other dogs. He is a bit anxious in the car and when going to new places, but really enjoys adventures, once familiar with the place. Foster is a big cuddler, especially at the end of the day when everyone’s home, settled, and relaxing together watching TV.  He wants to be right there with you and will follow you everywhere! He likes knowing everyone is safe, as he feels it’s his job to protect his people. Foster is house and crate trained, up to date, neutered and microchipped.     January 7, 2026, 5:23 pm

Bolt is a friendly, loving, and energetic best friend. I am sadly in a situation where I can no longer have a pet where I am moving. Looking for an active owner who can provide plenty of play time and room for Bolt to run. He lived with a cat and two other dogs in his life and is very friendly with other animals.

Story
Meet Tormund! An energetic husky looking for an active home that will keep him enriched! He can be a bit aloof upon first meeting which is pretty typical for huskies, but he does warm up quite quickly. He can be selective with his dog friends, but we think it's based on the energy the other dog is giving him. He seems to prefer a calmer, less forward dog. Aside from that, he is a curious boy that loves to adventure to new places and meet new people. If you are interested in Tormund, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.
