Story
Say hello to Paris! This vibrant girl is the absolute life of the party, and she’s looking for a family that can keep up with her playful spirit. She was brought to a shelter in MS months ago and never claimed. She was immediately ready to charm everyone she met! With her medium-high energy level, she loves to jump around and play, so she’ll need someone who can provide plenty of exercise and engagement. When it comes to other dogs, Paris is overly playful and wants to jump, bounce, and stay engaged. She would do best with a canine companion who tolerates and enjoys active play and can keep up with her fun-loving energy. While her leash manners could use some work, she wants to please, so will listen and learn. Paris is truly a sweetheart who deserves a loving home. She is ready to bring joy to your life. If you’re ready for a fun-loving companion, Paris is waiting to steal your heart!Name: ParisBreed: Husky MixSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 48.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: Unknown, but probably not due to her level of excitability.Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
What a handsome boy Foster is! He’s a 2.5 year old husky mix, weighing about 50 lbs. Foster’s an active pup who enjoys playing with his toys and the great outdoors, where he loves laying around and chasing birds, even in cold weather. He’s not much of a fetch guy and prefers playing independently with his toys. Foster seems to have a preference toward women. He’s great on walks and stays right by your side, but hold tight if he sees birds or other small critters, as he loves chasing them! He can also be leash reactive to other dogs on walks.  While foster enjoys playing with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet in a calm adult home with grown children. He wants all the love and attention for himself and does not like to share, especially his food with other dogs. He is a bit anxious in the car and when going to new places, but really enjoys adventures, once familiar with the place. Foster is a big cuddler, especially at the end of the day when everyone’s home, settled, and relaxing together watching TV.  He wants to be right there with you and will follow you everywhere! He likes knowing everyone is safe, as he feels it’s his job to protect his people. Foster is house and crate trained, up to date, neutered and microchipped.     April 29, 2026, 9:06 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Truffle is a 4-year-old love bug with the sweetest soul and the kind of face you’ll fall for instantly—just one look into those eyes and you’re hooked! This beautiful girl is all about connection, affection, and being close to her people. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and some gentle reassurance, and you’ll quickly see her warm, loving personality shine through. Once she feels comfortable, Truffle truly blossoms and becomes an affectionate, devoted companion. She would absolutely love a home with a yard where she can roll around in the grass, soak up the sunshine, and happily chew on a bone during a relaxing afternoon. It’s her idea of pure bliss! At 4 years old, she’s the perfect balance of playful and settled—past the puppy chaos but still full of life and love to give. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will shower you with affection and be your constant companion, Truffle is your girl. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 304-283-0066.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2026, 10:29 pm

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella lives in Alabama, Foster Home and will transport North when she is adopted. We strive to make every Adoption as smooth and easy as possible. We have been adopting dogs to families in New England for over 15 years. Ella is 3 1/2 years old. She weighs about 63 pounds. She lives in a Foster Home with a working couple and other dogs. She is a dominant female husky. She will do well as the only dog or she's do well with a submissive male. Ella is an active dog. She enjoys her walks and weekend hikes with her Foster Mom. We would require a fenced yard for her because she is an active dog. She has not lived with children that we are aware of so we prefer a home with either no children or teenagers. We look forward to putting you in touch with our Foster family. Ella is spayed, rabies, up-to-date on vaccines, microchip, dewormed, and receiving monthly parasite prevention. $585 total Adoption fee $345 to the Rescue $175 Transport, we don't own the van $65 Vet check and health certificate Serious Adapter should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you ASAP.

Story
Meet Samy! Samy is sweet affectionate boy with a dash of charming husky drama to spice things up. Want a dog who will throw a full on temper tantrum if you are five minutes late to his scheduled walk? Samy tempers that tantrum with pride and he won't even make things easy for you by staying still while you harness him. Once you've managed to wear him out a little, Samy is all cuddles and oh does he cuddle well. Ignore the tufts of fur that covers your clothing after a good Samy snuggle, it's only a mark of being loved by a dog. As a proud representative of his breed, Samy promises to ensure his adopters experience years of love, loyalty, silliness, fur (absolutely everywhere. Nothing is safe from a husky blowing their winter coat), drama, and lots and lots of howls and long awooooooos **if you are interested in Samy, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**
