Story
My wife adopted Legend from a shelter in 2019, he was originally surrendered at the age of 2 due to him escaping the yard, which we haven’t experienced ourselves. He grew up in a rough breeder household that was too small. He broke his paw at a young age and due to the overcrowding and injury that is why he is not dog friendly. He doesn’t do well either our infant which is the reason for our surrender. He’s overall a good and very quiet husky that needs some love and a place where he can roam the house. He likes to cuddle on the bed and loves his squeaky pig toy. If you don’t have any children or other pets he a a fine addition to the family.

Story
Meet Nyla! Nyla is a 6-year-old Husky who breaks the mold — she definitely doesn’t act like your typical husky! She was surrendered after her owner passed away, and while she was deeply loved, the change in circumstances made it difficult for her to stay in the home.Despite her husky roots, Nyla is well-mannered and eager to please. She walks nicely on leash, is fully potty trained, and is very food motivated. Nyla knows several commands including sit, down, paw, other paw, and speak, and she enjoys playing fetch — even bringing the ball back! She handled restraint well during her veterinary workup. Nyla is an active dog who will still need both physical and mental enrichment to stay happy and fulfilled. While she’s more laid-back than most huskies, breed experience is required so her adopter understands and can meet the needs of a working breed. A secure fenced yard is recommended to help provide safe exercise, and rumor has it she previously lived with another dog, so a dog interaction is required to see if your pup can keep up with Nyla and vice versa.Nyla is a smart, well-trained, and affectionate companion who’s ready to settle into a loving home that will give her structure, activity, and stability for her next chapter. ????

Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a 1-year-old Husky mix with a wild, spirited personality — a true ball of energy who is looking for a special person ready to embrace her high-energy, playful nature. She was surrendered to the shelter on 11/19 after playing too rough with the children in her home, but she is not aggressive; she just gets overexcited during play and can be mouthy.Willow is smart, curious, and full of life. She needs a home that can provide both physical and mental exercise, consistent training, and someone who understands the Husky breed. She thrives when given a “job” or activity to focus her energy. She has done well with medium-sized, medium-energy dogs, but slow introductions are recommended as she can be nervous at first. She is not cat-friendly and should not go to a home with small animals. Huskies with experience will be the best match to help Willow channel her energy into positive behaviors and help her flourish.Willow is a spirited, loving, and highly intelligent girl who is ready to find the right home that can meet her needs and enjoy every wild, playful moment with her.

🐾 Meet Ada – The Adventure Buddy Who’s Been Waiting Too Long! 🐾
3 and a half months in care… and still no interest. Let’s change that! Ada is a gorgeous 3-year-old, 60-pound lovebug who has been so patient waiting for her forever family. She’s been living in a foster home this whole time, so you know exactly what you’re getting: a fun, affectionate, house-ready girl who will slide right into family life. If you’re looking for an enthusiastic companion, Ada is your girl. She lives for outdoor fun—water adventures, long walks, meeting new people, chasing balls, you name it. She’s full of life and happiest when she’s moving, exploring, and being part of whatever you’re doing. She even powered through a 5-mile walk recently and loved every second! Ada is smart and learning quickly. Her leash skills are improving (less pulling now!), and she just needs someone who can keep a good pace and enjoy adventures with her. She’s wonderful with kids and good with everyone—though she tends to pick a favorite person to be her shadow. She’s also working on her relationship with the resident cat. And the cuddles… oh, the cuddles. Ada isn’t just a snuggler; she needs that connection. It’s like affection recharges her emotional battery. She leans in with her whole heart (and maybe her paws). After a day of play, exploring, and being your adventure buddy, Ada transforms into the ultimate couch companion—soft, warm, and completely devoted. ✨ Ada has waited far too long for her person. Could it be you?
She’ll fill your days with joy, your home with love, and your nights with the sweetest snuggles.
