Hello, my name is Luna! I am a beautiful and majestic husky goddess! I am around 4 years old and a slim girl at 39lbs. I lived my life alone outdoors without much attention, so I am loving my foster home where I get lots of love and snuggles. I love to follow them around and be a part of the family, especially my teenage foster brother, he is my favorite! I love laying next to him and watching TV or just sleeping the night away! I am a quiet girl and only use my beautiful husky howl when I am excited or can’t find my people, I like having them around! I am a very gentle girl, I walk perfectly on a leash, eat slowly like a lady and take treats from a hand like an angel! I am also the perfect girl on car rides, so no need to leave me behind! I meet new people with a gentle nose bump and hand kiss I am good with other dogs, my foster home has lots of littles and I am nice to them all. They also have a cat but I run from her, she scares me. Also, I went for a bath and groom and the sweet lady said I was the best husky she has ever groomed, that made me feel really proud! This handsome young man is Zha. He is guessed to be a husky (maybe shepherd) mix. He is 100% good boy. He is guessed to be approximately 2 years old and 50-55 lbs. Hr is super dog friendly with all the dogs in his foster home including a 14 lb senior, blind dog. He prefers to play with the younger energetic dogs. He has a lot of puppy play in him. So far he has great house manners. Appears to be housebroke. And goes into a crate well with a treat. He would make an active family a wonderful additional family member or a great running partner. Yoshi is a sweet, happy and playful guy! He loves other dogs and is currently in a foster home with three other dogs. He's also quick to make new doggo friends on walks and immediately wants to play! He's about 4ish months old and is doing great with potty training. He's also crate trained and willingly goes into his crate to sleep all night without a peep. He loves walks and wants to sniff all the things. He also loves hanging out in the yard and doing zoomies and trying to catch bugs in the grass. He shares his foster home with a cat and two foster kittens and is cat friendly! He really just wants to be friends with everyone. He can keep himself entertained by playing with toys or bones, and then will flop in your lap for a nap after. Yoshi is believed to be a husky/ heeler mix and will likely be a medium size when he matures. Until then, he's a loveable silly guy who would make a great companion for just about any home! Some people want a standard-issue, cookie-cutter dog: one who looks like thousands of others. One who fits into neat categories. I'm for those other guys. The ones who want a one-of-a-kind dog. My name is Koda and you're not going to find my face on mass-produced socks that say "proud owner of a [insert breed here]". You're not going to chat up a stranger and be able to convey my whole personality in one sentence. I'm a complex guy. I'm eleven years old, 59 lb, and generally pretty low-key. I don't need a whole lot of exercise, but I do love going for walks. I love attention and get a little bounce in my step when someone I know and like comes to hang out with me. I'm a bit "cat-like." I'm independent AND affectionate. I can spend ages just chilling on my own, hanging out quietly in the sunshine, taking naps, and watching the world go by. I'm deaf, or at least quite hard-of-hearing, so I'm not bothered by noise. Before I came to the shelter, I had gone without regular healthcare for a long time, so I was sensitive and in pain. I'm a lot better now and most of my health problems have resolved. The only special care I need is that, for my meals, I eat canned food instead of dry. I'm still a bit touchy when it comes to body handling, though, so I'd need an adopter who is willing to treat me with respect and occasionally take "no" for an answer. For that reason, I'm probably not the best match for a home with young kids. I've earned the right to have my curmudgeonly moments, I think. I just want to live an easy, quiet life with nobody pestering me, except when I want it. I'd like to be a solo pet- no other dogs or cats, please. Just my favorite human(s) and me. Because I'm 11 years old, I'm eligible for the Seniors-4-Seniors program. That means I'm available for adoption by anyone of any age, but if someone over 65 adopts me, the adoption fee is just one dollar and routine vet care and food for the rest of my life is covered at no cost to the adopter.
