Story
Some people want a standard-issue, cookie-cutter dog: one who looks like thousands of others. One who fits into neat categories. I'm for those other guys. The ones who want a one-of-a-kind dog. My name is Koda and you're not going to find my face on mass-produced socks that say "proud owner of a [insert breed here]". You're not going to chat up a stranger and be able to convey my whole personality in one sentence. I'm a complex guy. I'm eleven years old, 59 lb, and generally pretty low-key. I don't need a whole lot of exercise, but I do love going for walks. I love attention and get a little bounce in my step when someone I know and like comes to hang out with me. I'm a bit "cat-like." I'm independent AND affectionate. I can spend ages just chilling on my own, hanging out quietly in the sunshine, taking naps, and watching the world go by. I'm deaf, or at least quite hard-of-hearing, so I'm not bothered by noise. Before I came to the shelter, I had gone without regular healthcare for a long time, so I was sensitive and in pain. I'm a lot better now and most of my health problems have resolved. The only special care I need is that, for my meals, I eat canned food instead of dry. I'm still a bit touchy when it comes to body handling, though, so I'd need an adopter who is willing to treat me with respect and occasionally take "no" for an answer. For that reason, I'm probably not the best match for a home with young kids. I've earned the right to have my curmudgeonly moments, I think. I just want to live an easy, quiet life with nobody pestering me, except when I want it. I'd like to be a solo pet- no other dogs or cats, please. Just my favorite human(s) and me. Because I'm 11 years old, I'm eligible for the Seniors-4-Seniors program. That means I'm available for adoption by anyone of any age, but if someone over 65 adopts me, the adoption fee is just one dollar and routine vet care and food for the rest of my life is covered at no cost to the adopter. So if you've got room in your life for a one-of-a-kind occasionally-grumpy old man, come and check me out! If interested please fill out a preliminary at odas.org/canine and someone will contact you to schedule your visit.

Story
I'm Annie, a striking 2-year-old white Husky with a heart full of adventure! 🐕 I'm energetic and playful, always ready for action and fun with the people I love. I'm affectionate and friendly, and I bring mischief and joy wherever I go — life's never boring with me around! I'm not yet spayed, so that's something to discuss with the shelter team. I also have a strange looking front left arm but that is something I've dealt with my whole left and it doesn't stop me from doing anything and everything I want to do! My adoption fee is $400 (covers spay procedure, vaccinations at intake, testing at intake, and heartworm prevention up to the date of adoption), and I'm looking for an active family ready to keep up with all this Husky energy. ❄️ Come meet me and let's start our next adventure together! 🐾

Story
Dash is a 6 month old ( end of July) mostly huskador ( lab husky mix) He is a beautiful puppy 80-90 %house trained,( oops once or twice a month pee( no poops inside!) Kenneled at night with no problem, goes 8 hours without potty break. Loves to play fetch, gentle tug of war. Loves a good chewy bone in the evening as he is still teething. Good with dogs and our 7 year old grandson. Loves to be by you in the evening. Loves brain games. Giving up our beautiful pup due to allergies arthritis and asthma. Have had 2 doodle rescues in the past without allergy flares like this. Has had all shots for the year. Comes with Kennel, bowls, new dog bed, walking vest, leash, stainless steel dog bowls, dog grooming brush, and right now 2 -14 lb bags of puppy food. He is a a wonderful pup. Sits. Has not been to obedience school. Medium typical puppy energy. We think he has some spaniel in him as his coat is developing dark brown spots all up and down his back. Loves to be brushed. Should be 55-60lbs.
