Understands basic commands like sit (especially if treats are involved). Kennel, come, lay down. Is kennel trained and mostly house trained (she pees when she gets scared) Loves to be held like a baby after long walks at park (does not mind leash but prefers off leash) This dog loves water. Story
Hi, I'm Kya-a mellow 5-year-old husky with a soft heart and a love for the simple things in life. I'm looking for a calm, gentle home where I can feel safe, loved, and take things at my own pace. I may need a little time to warm up, but once I trust you, I'm affectionate, confident, and happy just to be by your side while you work or relax. I walk beautifully on a leash, adore toys and treats, and appreciate kind, patient people who let me adjust in my own time. I could use a little refresher on manners, but I'm eager to learn with someone who's just as mellow and kind-hearted as I am.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior to Senior programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 91 Age: 5yrs 4mths 3wks

Story
Seeking a new loving home for Artemis! She is 7 year old husky mix that loves belly rubs and head scratches. She is generally low energy and very easy to care for. Artemis has graduated from professional behavioral training and is very well behaved. She does not bark but will whine when she gets excited. She is crate trained and walks politely on a leash. Artemis is extremely friendly and great with humans of all ages. She does not get along well with other dogs, and is nervous around cats. An ideal home for Artemis would be with a family where she can get lots of attention but have no other pets around.

Nola is such a loving dog! that is for sure her biggest quality, she has a ton of energy and she loves to run around and play especially with other dogs. She is always so happy to meet new dogs and new people, she does have a tendency to jump but as long as you tell her to lay down she will get down and lay on her back so youre able to rub her belly, she is left alone in my room when I go to work, she has been kennel trained in the past but is currently not in a kennel. She needs a home where she can get all the loves and get all of her energy out she deserves that.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, hello!  My name is Inari and I am still available for adoption.  I have been with my foster family for almost a year and a half now, and although I love them and they love me, they are not able to keep me and we are both hoping I can find my forever home soon.     I am a young guy, about 2.5 years old and around 55 lbs.  Yes, I am a husky mix, but I don't do most of the naughty husky things that the others do, like fence jumping, digging, or running away.    I do enjoy listening to my own voice and sometimes like to sing the song of my husky peeps at times, though, so I wouldn't be a great apartment dwelling dog.     I have a genetic deformity in my back legs that makes it so I can’t be too active for too long. But i do love Short walks, hikes, swimming and mental stimulation games.    My foster mom is a dog trainer and has spent alot of time working on my anxiety, socialization with other dogs, house and leash manners, and obedience skills. Not to toot my own horn too much, but I’m pretty awesome now. I know many great commands and have really learned how to relax and not be so anxious. I am such a smart boy that is very excited to continue learning with you.     I am fully house trained and great in my crate most of the time. I have pretty good house manners and love to hang out with my people and chew on a bone. I Love to meet new people, including kids.  I do fine with cats, but can be picky about my dog friends. I like to be the only handsome boy in the house so I would prefer to live with a chill female dog.    If you think Inari could be the arctic adonis you've been looking for, apply to meet him today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 2, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Betty Girl and I’m a year old! I love to play and be outside but I’m also always happy to cuddle and watch a movie with you. I’m a small girl for a Husky, only about 45lbs but I get along great with other dogs, regardless of size or energy level, and warm up fast to new people. One of my foster brothers likes to play and the other just likes to relax and I’m happy doing either! I’m good with older kids and would do really well in a family of any number. My foster mom says I have a happy and silly personality! Being social is one of my favorite things so I really like being around where the people are.
