Story
Name: Hanna Age: 6 months old (as of July 2024) Gender: Female Weight: 3.6 kgs / 8 lbs. Breed: Wired haired terrier mix Spayed/Neutered? Yes Vaccinated? Yes Heartworm Negative? Yes Good with dogs? Yes Good with kids? Unsure. She hasn't been around any. Good with cats? Unsure. She hasn't been around any. Has experience on a leash? She is beginning to learn how to walk on a leash. Potty trained? Yes, She is clean in her area at her fosterhome. She will adjust rapidly to new house rules. Crate trained? No Where does the dog stay when it is alone? At the moment she has to share her space with other dogs as her foster has other rescues. Hanna doesn’t have her own space, but she is an independent dog that allows herself to be apart from the pack. Where does the dog sleep? In her foster house, in her dog bed, on the floor, in her designated area. Temperament/Personality: Hanna is the sweetest dog ever, all she wants is love! Hanna likes being carried with her arms up on your shoulder and when you re sitting down she will wiggle into you making sure you don t forget to give her lots of pets as she gazes up at you with her soulful eyes. Hanna is playful and often initiates quick play bows, zoomies, and little spins showing off how fast she is to the other dogs! As most Terrier breeds usually are, Hanna is intuitive and alert to her surroundings. What does the dog's ideal home look like? Hanna would be great in a home with young adults or a family with older kids (please note that young dogs prefer the company of older kids and up, as they can be reactive if they re not properly treated by young children). We think she ll get along in a home that has other dogs that are respectful of dog sibling boundaries and won t mind a sister that can be a little sassy. Hanna as an energetic young dog who loves outdoor activity. She is just learning how to walk on a leash with positive training using treats. What is the dog's rescue story? Hanna and her sister Hailey (Hailey who is up for adoption as well) were born in a foster home after their mom was rescued from the streets. Now they are looking for their forever homes. At first the two little puppies were so afraid but with time and love they learned to trust and now they are a healthy, playful and ready to find a home. Hanna is waiting in Mexico until a family is commited to a 10-day trial with her. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org her adoption fee is $550 ##2108370##

Story
Name: Hailey Breed: Terrier/French Mix Gender: Female About Hailey: Introducing Hailey, the 6-month-old Terrier/French mix with a heart full of joy and an endless supply of playful energy! This little dynamo is a bundle of affection, always ready to run, frolic, and have a blast with her doggy pals. When she's not busy chasing toys or engaging in epic play sessions, you can find her curled up and enjoying some well-deserved snuggle time. Hailey’s ideal home is with an active person or family who loves fun and has another playful dog around her size to keep her company. While she’s new to leash walking, she’s a pro in the car and is excited to explore the world with you. Hailey hasn’t met any cats yet, but she’s open to making new friends. She hasn’t been around kids, but older children who understand how to interact with energetic pups would be just perfect. Hailey’s journey started in the loving care of a rescuer who saved her mom from the streets. Born in their home along with her sister Hanna (who’s also looking for a forever home!), Hailey and her sister were initially shy but have blossomed into happy, healthy, and affectionate pups ready to find their forever families. Ready to add a splash of fun and a whole lot of love to your life? Hailey is eager to meet you and start the next chapter of her adventure! They are currently in Mexico awaiting a family committed to a 10-day trial. If interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org. The adoption fee is $550 and includes up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. ##2108377##
