Our medical team does everything they can to ensure the health of our dogs before they are placed up for adoption, which includes (but is not limited to): - Vaccinations against Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus and Parainfluenza (all dogs have at least 2 of these vaccines, puppies at least 3) - Vaccination against Bordetella and Leptospirosis - Vaccination against Rabies (dogs 5+ months) - Test (Idexx Snap 4Dx) for Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis (for adult dogs) - Recent full panel blood test (value $150+) for all adult dogs - Micro-chip with life long free registration - Deworming (roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms) - Treatment with Bravecto against fleas and ticks Of course, ALL our dogs are spayed or neutered before going to their new home. We got Izen about 7-8 months ago from a shelter called Animal Friends of the Valley. He is about to be 12 months this month. He is a labrador retriever mix (not sure what he’s mixed with since the shelter never disclosed it) What we are looking for in a new home is someone that will love him and someone who has more free time than myself and my significant other to spend quality time with him. He is such a loving dog that just wants to be next to you and spend time with you. He loves to run around ( he can run pretty fast), he loves learning new tricks, and he loves to eat blueberries, pumpkin and much more!
