Marley is our boy that we rescued when he was about 3-4 months. He just turned 1 on 12/20/25. He is a happy pup who is full of energy and just loves to play. Unfortunately, we feel that our home has become inadequate for him to enjoy the life he deserves due to lack of space for him to run around in and the inability to have him roam around indoors much because of some potential dog allergies some of our family members have. Marley is still learning a lot but he is good around our kids and is close to being fully house trained (he sleeps indoors in a closet converted into a dog room and notifies you when he has to go out to pee). We have two other fully grown dogs that are hypoallergenic, so we never had any signs of dog allergies until a couple months ago (Marley is a moderate shedder). We are hoping to find a good home for Marley with a family that can dedicate more time and show him lots of love.

*PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Drake is loving life in his foster home, but now it’s time for him to find his furever family… We rescued Drake back in 2020. He is a 7 year old pup now and we guess he is a labradoodle mix. He was adopted a few years ago but recently, instead of contacting us to surrender the Drake back to us when they were unable to keep him, the adopter brought him to the shelter. Not only did they bring him to the shelter, they told the shelter to EUTHANIZE HIM!! Why? Because he is reactive/ doesn’t get along with small dogs, something they knew when they adopted him. Thankfully we were notified and able to get him back into our care quickly. He has been doing so well in foster and deserves to finally find the right people. Drake is a big boy (100+ pounds, but does need to lose some weight) and loves cuddles. He greatly enjoys long walks and car rides. He is super smart and food motivated. Drake is a go with the flow dude who just wants people to love. He would be best as the only animal in the home and with people committed to managing his reactivity. He is very easy to redirect with treats and will thrive with the right people. Drake is currently being fostered in Santa Monica, California area but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can come to SoCal and drive home. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org .
