We are sadly looking for a wonderful forever home for our two second-generation Labradoodles, Scout and Sweet Tea. They are brother and sister from the same litter and are both almost 7 years old (born around June 2019). We’ve had them since they were 8 weeks old, and they have been amazing, loving companions. About them: • Both are fixed (spayed/neutered) • Sweet Tea is a sweet, gentle girl who loves affection and attention • Scout is a good boy but can be reactive around other dogs — they will need to be the only dogs in their new home • They do great with children and would be a great fit for a family with kids (we currently have a newborn and a toddler) • They are house-trained, friendly, and enjoy daily walks and playtime After the arrival of our newborn and toddler, we no longer have the time and energy to give Scout and Sweet Tea the attention, exercise, and affection they truly deserve. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Drake is loving life in his foster home, but now it’s time for him to find his furever family… We rescued Drake back in 2020. He is a 7 year old pup now and we guess he is a labradoodle mix. He was adopted a few years ago but recently, instead of contacting us to surrender the Drake back to us when they were unable to keep him, the adopter brought him to the shelter. Not only did they bring him to the shelter, they told the shelter to EUTHANIZE HIM!! Why? Because he is reactive/ doesn’t get along with small dogs, something they knew when they adopted him. Thankfully we were notified and able to get him back into our care quickly. He has been doing so well in foster and deserves to finally find the right people. Drake is a big boy (100+ pounds, but does need to lose some weight) and loves cuddles. He greatly enjoys long walks and car rides. He is super smart and food motivated. Drake is a go with the flow dude who just wants people to love. He would be best as the only animal in the home and with people committed to managing his reactivity. He is very easy to redirect with treats and will thrive with the right people. They went directly to one of our experienced bottle baby raising fosters. Their estimated DOB is October 11th, 2024. These puppies have been raised in an experienced foster home since the age of approximately 5 days old and are now super happy, healthy, playful and social puppies. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well behaved and well-rounded puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed).
