Tera is amazing with kids. She loves to play, loves pets, and adores treats. We first got her from a shelter and were informed that she showed signs of abuse. She is afraid of mops and brooms. But otherwise a great dog. We aren’t being left with many options and we don’t want to have her put down just because she isn’t allowed in our new home. She is a gentle dog with a calm temperament. She rarely ever barks and doesn’t run away if off the leash. She is very bounded to whomever she receives love and attention from. Anyone who comes across her profile and is interested, just know she is really just an amazing dog all around.

We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. I adopted Brixy at the end of 2021 when she was 3 months old. She is very sweet, smart, sassy and protective. She extremely loyal and loving and wants to be with her person wherever they go. She lives in a house with another dog full time and a third when our kids come to visit. She is obsessed with balls. She will fetch a ball or a frisby. She loves tug of war and is extremely strong. She knows commands sit, down, leave it, up jumping up on you on command and a few others. She sits before coming in through a door when asked. She loves to go on bike rides with her leash. She loves kids, but has herding tendencies. An experienced owner would be ideal. She would do best with a person who has alot of love to give who is also firm so she knows whos boss.
