Story
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
He is an exceptionally loyal, loving companion who bonds closely with his people. Smart and eager to please, he knows his basic commands and has excellent house manners. He does not chew and is respectful in the home. He is in great health, up-to-date on all vaccines, and professionally groomed regularly (records available). He loves fetch, toys, walks, swimming, and is active when engaged, but settles well in calm environments. With adults and visitors, including strangers, he is friendly and accepting. He would do best in a home without small children, as he struggles with patience and trust around little humans. This is the primary reason for our rehoming decision. He can be anxious and may bark when he has visual access to outside activity. He gets along well with most dogs and regularly interacts positively with both small and large breeds, though rare territorial incidents have occurred, so thoughtful introductions are important.

Story
Meet Joy! Introducing Joy, a resilient 4-year-old Lab mix who has shown incredible strength and love despite a rough start. Pulled from a shelter and malnourished, Joy is now thriving and sharing her gentle heart with her three black “Christmas” pups. Loving Once She Trusts Joy can be a little shy at first and takes time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate and loving. She enjoys her own space but can get along with other dogs when introduced properly. Mama and Adventure Lover Joy is our resident mama dog, caring deeply for her puppies while still enjoying life herself. She’s great with children and loves car rides, making her a sweet companion for family adventures. Healthy and Ready Joy is on her way to regaining full health after her malnourishment and is ready for a forever home where she can continue to thrive. Ready for a Patient, Loving Home Joy is looking for a patient family who can give her the time and trust she needs to feel secure. Her loving nature, once earned, makes her a truly special companion. If Joy’s story touches your heart, come meet her! She’s ready to bring love, care, and joy to her forever home ##2607582##
