Ozzy is a very lovable, high energy dog. She gets along great with our other doodle but is definitely the dominate dog. She loves playing chase and running around the yard. She needs LOTS of space to run and an owner who can take her on frequent walks. Unfortunately, she is not the most patient dog with kids which has become an issue with our 5 and 7 month old. She has never bitten but will assert herself/growl if she feels threatened. She is also a runner. Any chance she gets, she will take off. This has posed a safety concern for her and our other dog who will take off with her. We want to find a home that can better meet Ozzy’s needs and give her the life she deserves.

Our dog was a Christmas gift for our two children in 2020 during the pandemic. Our family traveled nearly 100 miles to the breeder’s home to pick him up. The kids loved him and enjoyed his company. Once we returned to a “normal “ routine following the pandemic, it became a bit more challenging to keep up with daily walks and doggie care. Yet, we continued until both kids graduated from high school and left for college. We travel more now and the kids are no longer living at home to constantly love on the doggie. We’d love for him to be with someone who has more dedicated time to spend with and nurture him.

Maximus is a 61-lb. 8-year-old black Lab mix who I’ve had since he was young. He is affectionate, loyal, and very people- and toy/ball-oriented. He enjoys being close to his family, spending time outdoors, and relaxing inside. He is gentle, sensitive, and eager to please. He is good with other dogs and does well around children. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. In 2025, he had 2 small tumors removed from his side and his back near his hip. The surgery was successful, and he recovered without complications. He is currently healthy and active and obsessed with playing catch. Maximus can be skittish around fireworks and thunder and gets anxious during car rides and vet visits. He takes fluoxetine to help manage anxiety. He has had some recent house-training inconsistencies during stressful periods but improves with routine and supervision. He would do best in a calm, stable home that can provide structure and reassurance.
