Story
Meet Joy! Introducing Joy, a resilient 4-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who has shown incredible strength and love despite a rough start. Pulled from a shelter and malnourished, Joy is now thriving and sharing her gentle heart with her three black “Christmas” pups. Now that her puppies have found their families, it’s her turn to be someone’s baby! Loving Once She TrustsJoy can be a little shy at first, but with a patient, loving, and consistent home, she blossoms into a loyal velcro dog who loves being close to her people. She’s potty and leash trained, knows a few commands, and enjoys walks, yard time, and playing outside—but also loves winding down with belly rubs and cuddles. She enjoys her own space but can get along with other dogs when introduced properly. Mama and Adventure LoverJoy is a caring, devoted mama and a sweet companion who enjoys life and adventures. She’s great with children, loves car rides, and would do well in a calm, patient home where she can feel secure and get the outdoor time she needs. Healthy and ReadyJoy is regaining full health after her rough start and is ready for a forever home where she can continue to thrive. She’s curious, smart, and gaining confidence every day. Ready for a Patient, Loving HomeJoy is looking for a family who can give her the time and trust she needs to feel secure. Her gentle, loving nature, once earned, makes her a truly special companion for a family or someone who wants a devoted, affectionate dog. If Joy’s story touches your heart, come meet her! She’s ready to bring love, care, and joy to her forever home ##2607582##

Story
Our dog was a Christmas gift for our two children in 2020 during the pandemic. Our family traveled nearly 100 miles to the breeder’s home to pick him up. The kids loved him and enjoyed his company. Once we returned to a “normal “ routine following the pandemic, it became a bit more challenging to keep up with daily walks and doggie care. Yet, we continued until both kids graduated from high school and left for college. We travel more now and the kids are no longer living at home to constantly love on the doggie. We’d love for him to be with someone who has more dedicated time to spend with and nurture him.

Lotus is a very sweet dog. Unfortunately, I don’t have the resources or schedule to care for her in the way she deserves. She is very playful and affectionate. I would love for her to have a home with plenty of space to play and a family who can be active with her. Children would be wonderful as well, as she loves to play. Lotus is 3 years old.

Story
Meet Dayton (a/k/a Daytona) -- the sweetest &#34Ms. Wiggle Bottoms&#34 you&#39ll ever meet! Daytona is a joyful, loving 6-year-old Lab mix (around 55 lbs) who has mastered the art of spreading happiness wherever she goes. This gentle girl absolutely adores people -- especially kids -- and will gladly shower you with snuggles, kisses, and her signature tail wiggles. This sweet girl is the perfect blend of playful and easygoing. Daytona loves going on car rides, showing off her tricks (she even does the cutest high-five!), and joining in on family fun. But when the day winds down, she&#39s happiest curled up by your side, content just to be near her favorite humans. Daytona has wonderful manners -- she&#39s house and crate-trained, walks nicely on leash, and takes her treats very gently (a big plus for little hands!). She&#39s smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, making her a true delight to have around. More than anything, Daytona just wants a family to love -- one that will cherish her sweet spirit and give her all the affection she so willingly gives in return. If you&#39re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and endless love, Daytona is your girl. Daytona gets along best with calm, easygoing dogs and is also great with cats -- a wonderful addition to a gentle, loving home. She&#39s ready to soak up all the affection and promises to give back even more. Daytona is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Jeff (goes by Geoff) is a sweet Black Labrador and Pitbull Terrier mix born around 7-28-23. He will mature to be a medium sized dog weighing around 55 lbs. Geoff is learning all about potty training in his foster home and has already mastered crate training! This sweet boy was a part of an unwanted litter and is a little nervous and uncertain at times. He is learning how to trust people and is gaining confidence day by day. He loves other dogs and would love to have a confident friendly pup to learn from in her forever home. Geoff&#39s favorite activities are playing and snuggling! Geoff will need a forever family that will provide him with basic training, and will have patience with him as he continues to come out of his shell. Geoff is available for a foster to adopt situation until he is able to be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. BarkVille Dog Rescue will cover any medical needs until he is fully adoptable. For more information about this deserving boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
