Story
Jovi is a sweet, soulful 4 year old, 21 lb Miniature Labradoodle who just wants a person to call his own. He’s a gentle, shy boy at first, more of a “take it slow and let me come to you” kind of guy, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He enjoys being near his person, with a little personal space at first, and builds trust in the most heart melting way, on his own time, with quiet loyalty and soft affection. Jovi does well with other dogs, though he does best with ones who respect his space when he needs it. He walks on a leash but may need a little patience in new places as he gains confidence. He settles nicely in his crate after a few minutes and is learning his house manners. He currently wears a belly band as he continues working on marking behavior (he was JUST neutered); he’s trying, and progress takes time. Jovi would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a fenced in yard (he won't potty on leash right now), a confident dog buddy preferred but not required, and a patient human who is home often. A quieter, adult-only environment is ideal for him. This boy has so much love to give; he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and watch him blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will form a deep, meaningful bond, Jovi might just be your perfect match. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
Rehoming our beloved dog Chanson – must go with his best friend Aria ($75 total)Meet Chanson, born June 6, 2020.He is our first dog and has been a wonderful part of our family. Chanson is smart, a big food lover, loves being petted, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is crate-trained, friendly with both dogs and kids, and has a gentle personality. He does have a mild food allergy. Our vet recommends feeding him lamb instead of chicken.Unfortunately, our young daughter has developed an allergy to Chanson. It has become very difficult to keep our little one safe while still giving Chanson the happy, active life he deserves at home. Because of this, we have to rehome him.Chanson’s best friend is Aria, our purebred Shiba Inu (who originally cost us $1,600). The two of them grew up together and are deeply bonded. We will only rehome them together. We are asking just $75 total for both dogs — only because of our daughter’s allergy.Thank you for helping us find them the right family.

Hello ! Sadly, I will be having to give away my dog Meana. With our new little addition to the family, we can no longer keep or give her the attention she deserves/needs. Although she’s one of the best fur pets ever, anybody will love her ! I want to make sure her new home is to be filled with lots of love 🤍 I will not be giving her away to just anybody - she is free. Serious inquiries only, if any questions or concerns about her please feel free to message me privately as I am also curious & very open to know a little more about you/your family in regards to finding your new fur best friend 🤍 she is a Lab mixed with a Pit, about 6 months old, LOVES playing with kids, very energetic & has a lot of love to spread. I pray over the person reading this in hopes she will find a loving home & owner 🙏🏼🤍

Story
Meet Khabi! 🐾 Khabi is a sweet, affectionate, and playful Labradoodle looking for a loving new home. He enjoys being around people, loves attention, and has an energetic personality that would do well with an active individual or family who can give him the time, exercise, and consistency he deserves. Making the decision to rehome Khabi has been incredibly difficult, but I want to do what's best for him. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment with very thin flooring, and despite my efforts to manage the situation, there have been several noise complaints due to his barking and activity. Because of my living situation, I can no longer provide the environment that's best for him. Khabi would thrive in a home with more space—ideally a house or a home with a fenced yard where he can play and be himself without the limitations of apartment living.

Story
Meet Midnight! Midnight is a 3-year-old pup with a beautiful story of resilience and transformation. She was found as a stray in Walton County, understandably fearful and unsure of the world around her. Since then, Midnight has made incredible progress. She has completed professional training at Rucker's Dog Training Academy and comes with a lifetime of training support, giving her future family the tools and guidance to help her continue to thrive. Midnight is dog-friendly and enjoys spending time with her foster brother, Snickers. She can be slow to warm up to new people, but with patience and consistency, she forms deep, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted companion who truly loves her person. She would do best in a home with children 12 and up and an adopter who understands that she may need time to adjust and build confidence at her own pace. Her ideal home is quiet, with a fenced-in yard, where she can feel safe and settle in comfortably. Midnight loves: car rides and golf cart adventures; walks and running; hanging out with her people and dog-friends. With the right home, Midnight will be an incredibly rewarding and loyal companion. If you're willing to give her the time she needs, she'll give you her whole heart. If you'd like to adopt Midnight, please fill out an application at: www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications or email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org for more information. Story
Meet Dayton (a/k/a Daytona) -- the sweetest "Ms. Wiggle Bottoms" you'll ever meet! Daytona is a joyful, loving 6-year-old Lab mix (around 55 lbs) who has mastered the art of spreading happiness wherever she goes. This gentle girl absolutely adores people -- especially kids -- and will gladly shower you with snuggles, kisses, and her signature tail wiggles. This sweet girl is the perfect blend of playful and easygoing. Daytona loves going on car rides, showing off her tricks (she even does the cutest high-five!), and joining in on family fun. But when the day winds down, she's happiest curled up by your side, content just to be near her favorite humans. Daytona has wonderful manners -- she's house and crate-trained, walks nicely on leash, and takes her treats very gently (a big plus for little hands!). She's smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, making her a true delight to have around. More than anything, Daytona just wants a family to love -- one that will cherish her sweet spirit and give her all the affection she so willingly gives in return. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and endless love, Daytona is your girl. Daytona gets along best with calm, easygoing dogs and is also great with cats -- a wonderful addition to a gentle, loving home. She's ready to soak up all the affection and promises to give back even more. Daytona is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Meet Jeff -- Your Loyal Buddy! If you're looking for a devoted companion who forms an incredible bond with his people, Jeff may just be your perfect match! Jeff is a handsome adult Lab mix (born, we believe in 2023) with a gentle heart and a calm, thoughtful personality. He's house trained, crate trained, and has excellent leash manners. One of his favorite things in the world is heading out for a long walk - especially somewhere peaceful where he can enjoy nature without a lot of hustle and bustle. Jeff is a smart boy who truly enjoys learning. He knows a variety of commands and loves continuing his training, making him a wonderful partner for someone who enjoys working with their dog. At home, you'll often find him relaxing by the window, proudly keeping watch over his family and letting you know when someone is nearby. Like many special dogs, Jeff needs the right environment to truly shine. He experiences anxiety and is fearful of unfamiliar people and new situations, so he takes a daily medication that helps him feel more comfortable. He thrives with consistency, routine, and an owner who is patient, confident, and willing to continue building his trust through positive training. Jeff's ideal home is a quiet one without a lot of visitors or constant activity, and no kids unless they are teenagers. He prefers a predictable schedule and doesn't enjoy frequent changes. A securely fenced yard is a must, giving him a safe place to stretch his legs, do his joyful zoomies, and explore to his heart's content. Jeff enjoys the company of other dogs but would likely be happiest with just one compatible canine companion (larger dogs only as smaller dogs/cats/rodents may trigger his prey drive). He'll do best with an experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time and is committed to helping him feel safe while advocating for him in unfamiliar situations. Once Jeff knows you're his person, you'll discover a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion who simply wants to be by your side. His calm nature, intelligence, and loving heart make him an incredibly rewarding dog for someone willing to give him the patience and understanding he deserves. If you're ready to offer Jeff the stable, peaceful home he's been waiting for, he'll repay you with unwavering loyalty and a lifetime of companionship. Jeff is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you're interested in adopting this special boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
