Our dog was a Christmas gift for our two children in 2020 during the pandemic. Our family traveled nearly 100 miles to the breeder’s home to pick him up. The kids loved him and enjoyed his company. Once we returned to a “normal “ routine following the pandemic, it became a bit more challenging to keep up with daily walks and doggie care. Yet, we continued until both kids graduated from high school and left for college. We travel more now and the kids are no longer living at home to constantly love on the doggie. We’d love for him to be with someone who has more dedicated time to spend with and nurture him.

Lotus is a very sweet dog. Unfortunately, I don’t have the resources or schedule to care for her in the way she deserves. She is very playful and affectionate. I would love for her to have a home with plenty of space to play and a family who can be active with her. Children would be wonderful as well, as she loves to play. Lotus is 3 years old.

Introducing Hunch! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 2/12. Hunch is 1 year old and weighs in at 51 pounds. He is simply adorable! He is beyond sweet! He knows to sit when asked especially if you have a treat. He is a perfect gentleman on a leash. He sure could you a spa day. He has a lot of love to give and just wants to receive a life time of love back. Are you ready for a new best friend? Ask for ID# 16962 Run 111. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
