Story
Jovi is a sweet, soulful 4 year old, 21 lb Miniature Labradoodle who just wants a person to call his own. He’s a gentle, shy boy at first, more of a “take it slow and let me come to you” kind of guy, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He enjoys being near his person, with a little personal space at first, and builds trust in the most heart melting way, on his own time, with quiet loyalty and soft affection. Jovi does well with other dogs, though he does best with ones who respect his space when he needs it. He walks on a leash but may need a little patience in new places as he gains confidence. He settles nicely in his crate after a few minutes and is learning his house manners. He currently wears a belly band as he continues working on marking behavior (he was JUST neutered); he’s trying, and progress takes time. Jovi would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a fenced in yard (he won't potty on leash right now), a confident dog buddy preferred but not required, and a patient human who is home often. A quieter, adult-only environment is ideal for him. This boy has so much love to give; he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and watch him blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will form a deep, meaningful bond, Jovi might just be your perfect match. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
Rehoming our beloved dog Chanson – must go with his best friend Aria ($75 total)Meet Chanson, born June 6, 2020.He is our first dog and has been a wonderful part of our family. Chanson is smart, a big food lover, loves being petted, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is crate-trained, friendly with both dogs and kids, and has a gentle personality. He does have a mild food allergy. Our vet recommends feeding him lamb instead of chicken.Unfortunately, our young daughter has developed an allergy to Chanson. It has become very difficult to keep our little one safe while still giving Chanson the happy, active life he deserves at home. Because of this, we have to rehome him.Chanson’s best friend is Aria, our purebred Shiba Inu (who originally cost us $1,600). The two of them grew up together and are deeply bonded. We will only rehome them together. We are asking just $75 total for both dogs — only because of our daughter’s allergy.Thank you for helping us find them the right family.

Story
Beauregard is a 70-pound Standard Poodle or Poodle Mix (perhaps Labradoodle) who is estimated to be around 2 years old. He was found lying on the side of a road, underweight at 55 lbs and his beautiful hair all matted—he was neglected and discarded. He was taken in by a Tiny Paws volunteer and went through the county's process of being put into the system in order to give someone a chance to reclaim him before he could legally be ours. Even though he is much larger than the typical dog our rescue takes in, we had fosters for him and knew we couldn't turn him away. Now that he has received the medical care, nourishment, and professional grooming he desperately needed, he has shed his sad past—revealing the happy and playful pup he was meant to be! Beauregard is resilient and ready to live his very best life in his forever home. He is the ultimate "play hard, nap hard" kind of dog. He loves a good play session to burn off his youthful energy, followed by a nap. He will gladly curl right up with you for maximum cuddle time and might even try to crawl in your lap as he often seems to think he is a 10-pound lap dog like his some of his foster siblings! Beauregard is not only loving and playful, but he's also house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash! ******************** Beauregard's adoption fee is $600. He will come to you already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Please note that non-local applications will be reviewed only after all local applications have been thoroughly evaluated. Please read this bio in its entirety and then fill out our application by clicking the Apply Online button then Skip to bypass the Adopt-a-Pet form and go straight to the Tiny Paws adoption application. Story
Piper is a sweet, female "doodle" mix that my parents rescued in San Antonio, TX in 2019. She is house-trained, loves people and other pets (she was rescued with, and lives with, a small terrier mix), and still enjoys walks and play-time. We acquired the dogs after both of my parents passed away over the last 18 months. Piper is loved and well cared-for (all shots up to date, spayed, chipped, and eats veterinary prescription food as it's easy on her stomach), but my wife and I have a young son and both work full-time with significant travel requirements. It would be unfair for her to be in our home. She is accustomed to living with elderly individuals (e.g. doesn't need significant exercise, but still very much enjoys walks and spending time in the backyard), but also are good with kids and love to play. We would like to re-home her somewhere that she can continue to spend time with people during the day and enjoy her next decade.

These pups are in Sandy Springs, Georgia too!

Story
Meet Banks! Banks was found wandering the countryside along with his sister in a very rural area of Georgia. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter, but despite neighbors reporting who the owners were no one came to claim them   Big Boy Banks is about 4 yrs old and just over 80 lbs. When he first joined our RMG family just over a year ago, he was heartworm positive and really had no clue how to “dog”. Now, thanks to lots of TLC from his foster family (both the humans and the other dogs!), Banks is heartworm free and LOVES going out to play with all of his friends! He’s learned how to play ball, run zoomies around the yard, and even pretend to be a sumo wrestler once in a while. So now he’s more than ready to find his very own forever family and show off what an amazing companion he’s matured into! Interested in adopting Big Boy Banks? Meet Lucy!  Boy oh boy has our Lucy girl changed since being rescued - she’s no longer the scared, shut down girl we saw in the last pic that was sent out by the shelter. Thanks to lots of TLC from her foster and all of her new friends, Lucy has blossomed into a happy fun loving girl! We think Lucy is about 2 - 3 yrs old and just under 50 lbs. She’s great with other dogs but also has an independent side, so she would probably be just fine as an only fur child as well. One thing that Lucy has told us in non-negotiable on her list of adoption requirements- a plethora of tennis balls!! Lucy lives to play ball!! Interested in adopting, or even fostering, Lucy? Story
Meet Bubba!  In early April 2024, someone left their two dogs tied to a post - on the playground at Austin Elementary School in Dunwoody, GA. The dogs had on nice harnesses and collars and were so calm and loving to everyone that approached them. But hours and hours passed, and an awesome woman who had fostered for us in the past and then adopted - stepped in to help. Knowing the overcapacity at the local county shelter, she took them home and registered then through the shelter as a “ friendly finder” - that gets animals those found into the system should an owner come looking, but they don’t have to stay at the shelter. Over a week passed and it was obvious no one was coming to get the boys. Who knows the situation that caused them to abandon the brothers….. but it was just so sad all the way around. Atlanta Lab Rescue even posted them on their page trying to help but  we took ownership and they are in one of our foster homes. We attempted to separate them to see if they could be without each other- but they are truly bonded!  Bubba and Simba are 7-8 years old yellow lab mixes - fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained and know some basic commands. They run outside side by side and if one wanders away, it’s seconds before they are standing by each other again.  So PLEASE HELP us find them a forever home where they NEVER have to be abandoned again. They love toys, other dogs, kids and walks- and car rides ….but they would love to be spoiled rotten in a home, just the two of them! Their foster mom has her hands full and took them in bc it was urgent - so they need a new foster too !   Interested?
