Jovi is a sweet, soulful 4 year old, 21 lb Miniature Labradoodle who just wants a person to call his own. He’s a gentle, shy boy at first, more of a “take it slow and let me come to you” kind of guy, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He enjoys being near his person, with a little personal space at first, and builds trust in the most heart melting way, on his own time, with quiet loyalty and soft affection. Jovi does well with other dogs, though he does best with ones who respect his space when he needs it. He walks on a leash but may need a little patience in new places as he gains confidence. He settles nicely in his crate after a few minutes and is learning his house manners. He currently wears a belly band as he continues working on marking behavior (he was JUST neutered); he’s trying, and progress takes time. Jovi would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a fenced in yard (he won't potty on leash right now), a confident dog buddy preferred but not required, and a patient human who is home often. A quieter, adult-only environment is ideal for him. This boy has so much love to give; he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and watch him blossom. Rehoming our beloved dog Chanson – must go with his best friend Aria ($75 total)Meet Chanson, born June 6, 2020.He is our first dog and has been a wonderful part of our family. Chanson is smart, a big food lover, loves being petted, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is crate-trained, friendly with both dogs and kids, and has a gentle personality.He does have a mild food allergy. Our vet recommends feeding him lamb instead of chicken.Unfortunately, our young daughter has developed an allergy to Chanson. It has become very difficult to keep our little one safe while still giving Chanson the happy, active life he deserves at home. Because of this, we have to rehome him.Chanson’s best friend is Aria, our purebred Shiba Inu (who originally cost us $1,600). The two of them grew up together and are deeply bonded. When she’s happy, she loves hopping onto the bed or couch and rolling around for attention—often with all four paws in the air! Maggie is a serious cuddler and loves being petted, especially behind her ears and getting belly rubs. And she’s not shy about letting you know when she’d like a little more attention. Meet Banks! Banks was found wandering the countryside along with his sister in a very rural area of Georgia. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter, but despite neighbors reporting who the owners were no one came to claim them Big Boy Banks is about 4 yrs old and just over 80 lbs. When he first joined our RMG family just over a year ago, he was heartworm positive and really had no clue how to “dog”. Now, thanks to lots of TLC from his foster family (both the humans and the other dogs!), Banks is heartworm free and LOVES going out to play with all of his friends! He’s learned how to play ball, run zoomies around the yard, and even pretend to be a sumo wrestler once in a while. Meet Bubba! In early April 2024, someone left their two dogs tied to a post - on the playground at Austin Elementary School in Dunwoody, GA. The dogs had on nice harnesses and collars and were so calm and loving to everyone that approached them. But hours and hours passed, and an awesome woman who had fostered for us in the past and then adopted - stepped in to help. Knowing the overcapacity at the local county shelter, she took them home and registered then through the shelter as a “ friendly finder” - that gets animals those found into the system should an owner come looking, but they don’t have to stay at the shelter. Over a week passed and it was obvious no one was coming to get the boys. Who knows the situation that caused them to abandon the brothers….. but it was just so sad all the way around. Atlanta Lab Rescue even posted them on their page trying to help but we took ownership and they are in one of our foster homes. We attempted to separate them to see if they could be without each other- but they are truly bonded! Bubba and Simba are 7-8 years old yellow lab mixes - fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained and know some basic commands. They run outside side by side and if one wanders away, it’s seconds before they are standing by each other again. So PLEASE HELP us find them a forever home where they NEVER have to be abandoned again. They love toys, other dogs, kids and walks- and car rides ….but they would love to be spoiled rotten in a home, just the two of them! Their foster mom has her hands full and took them in bc it was urgent - so they need a new foster too ! Interested?
