Story
Ozzy is a very lovable, high energy dog. She gets along great with our other doodle but is definitely the dominate dog. She loves playing chase and running around the yard. She needs LOTS of space to run and an owner who can take her on frequent walks. Unfortunately, she is not the most patient dog with kids which has become an issue with our 5 and 7 month old. She has never bitten but will assert herself/growl if she feels threatened. She is also a runner. Any chance she gets, she will take off. This has posed a safety concern for her and our other dog who will take off with her. We want to find a home that can better meet Ozzy’s needs and give her the life she deserves.

Our dog was a Christmas gift for our two children in 2020 during the pandemic. Our family traveled nearly 100 miles to the breeder’s home to pick him up. The kids loved him and enjoyed his company. Once we returned to a “normal “ routine following the pandemic, it became a bit more challenging to keep up with daily walks and doggie care. Yet, we continued until both kids graduated from high school and left for college. We travel more now and the kids are no longer living at home to constantly love on the doggie. We’d love for him to be with someone who has more dedicated time to spend with and nurture him.

Onyx is mostly house-trained and very social. When he sees other dogs, he gets extremely excited because he wants to run over and say hello. We found Deckard on Facebook when he was 8 weeks old. His mom was a pup of an elderly couple who didn’t know she had gotten pregnant by their neighbors Chocolate lab. She was black and white pitty mix. Deckard is about 5.5 years old, had a vet visit on 1/24/26 with all vaccines (2027) (Distemper/Parvo, Canine Influenza, Bordetella & Rabies), had a fecal test and blood work done and recieved a clean bill of health. Deckard has always lived in a home with our son (we got him when he was 2 years old- he is now 8) and another large dog. He over time has become dog selective and can be reactive around other dogs. He would do best with someone who would be okay with him being a human dog only vs a friend for a current dog. A trainer has worked with him and has offered to give free training to acclimate him into his new home. He is good with people, excellent with kids, playful, you’ve never met a bigger baby- he is an incredibly smart, loyal and cuddly dog. The best.

Story
Maximus is a 61-lb. 8-year-old black Lab mix who I’ve had since he was young. He is affectionate, loyal, and very people- and toy/ball-oriented. He enjoys being close to his family, spending time outdoors, and relaxing inside. He is gentle, sensitive, and eager to please. He is good with other dogs and does well around children. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. In 2025, he had a tumor removed from his back near his hip. The surgery was successful, and he recovered without complications. He is currently healthy and active and obsessed with playing catch. Maximus can be skittish around fireworks and thunder and gets anxious during car rides and vet visits. He takes fluoxetine to help manage anxiety. He has had some recent house-training inconsistencies during stressful periods but improves with routine and supervision. He would do best in a calm, stable home that can provide structure and reassurance.
