Spaghetti and his sister, Babe Noodle, found themselves at an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. The shelter is no place a puppy should ever end up in, fortunately they have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers. Spaghetti has landed a nice foster home, but what he wants more than anything is to find his forever family. Could that be with you? Spaghetti is a sweet and playful puppy. He has not met a person or dog that he doesn't love. At Spaghetti's young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization too. Adopting him would mean gaining a loyal companion. He's waiting to shower his lucky family with plenty of wet nose kisses and butt wiggles. Submit an application today and change this sweet boy's life forever!  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me! Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Meet and greets are done via video chat after an approved application has been submitted. Complete an application for her at recycleddogsrescue.org if interested!

Story
Meet Edith! Breed/Age: 1yearold Labradoodle Coat/Size: Light browncream, ~35lbs Background Story: Edith’s had a whirlwind start: born in a backyard breeder’s home, she’s already moved through two shortterm homes before landing in boarding due to her barking. The most recent adopter returned her after just a week, surprised by her fearfulness when left alone and the accidents she had indoors. Her Sweet Heart Despite her nerves, Edith’s sweetness shines through in everything she does: Gentle Snuggles: She’ll lean into your hand for pets and melts into your lap with the softest sighs. Loving Kisses: Her light puppy breath and gentle doggie kisses are guaranteed to make you smile. Wagging Welcome: No matter how anxious she feels, she can’t help but wag that fluffy tail whenever you walk in the door. Loyal Companion: Once you’ve comforted her through a moment of fear, she’ll follow you around, everthankful for your calm reassurance. Why She Needs You: Separation or Isolation Anxiety: Edith panics the instant you step out of sight. She cannot be left alone—not even for 60seconds—until she’s built confidence through a gradual, stepbystep training plan. House and Crate Training: She hasn’t mastered potty etiquette or crate comfort yet. Consistent, rewardbased training will turn accidents into successes and transform her crate into a cozy, secure den. What She’s Looking For: A patient, loving adopter who will: Ensure constant companionship (doggy daycare or a sitter every time you leave—even briefly). Follow a gentle confidencebuilding protocol for alone time: starting at just a few seconds and only extending as she succeeds without stress. Use positive, rewardbased training for potty breaks and crate introductions. In Return Edith will fill your home with sweet snuggles, tender kisses, and unwavering loyalty. If you’re ready to guide her—one patient, loving step at a time—you’ll discover the joy of helping a truly gentle soul blossom into the confident cuddlebug she’s meant to be. ##2338687##

Story
Banks is a handsome young man, just over one year old, who is sensitive and somewhat tentative. He has been through a lot of changes, recently arriving from North Carolina where he was surrendered by his owner, by no fault of his own. Despite that, he is sweet and engaging, and he loves people and other dogs.   Banks enjoys long walks and would be a great hiking buddy. He likes to roll in the grass, walk through the neighborhood saying hello to other dogs, and he savors his sniffs. Banks is medium-sized at 40 pounds, he is easy on the leash, and doesn't pull. He likes attention, snuggles, and quiet time when playtime is over. ##2379792##
