Chewbacca is a loving, energetic Labrador looking for an active home where he can thrive. This is an incredibly difficult decision for me, but due to major life changes and going through a divorce, I’m no longer able to give him the time and consistency he deserves.He’s a fun, affectionate dog with a big personality and lots of energy. He loves people, does well with dogs, and would be happiest with an owner who enjoys walks, playtime, and staying active. He’s strong on a leash and benefits from structure and guidance during walks, but he responds well to handling and routine.Chewbacca does need to be fed separately from other animals, as he can be protective around food. Outside of that, he’s a loyal companion who wants attention, activity, and a family to bond with.I truly love this dog and want to find him a home that can give him the stability, exercise, and care he deserves.

Story
Bailey is the sweetest dog I’ve ever had. She’s the most gentle and laid back. She was born March of 2017, and has a lot of life left in her! She still has a puppy heart, is healthy, loves walks, car rides, playing outside, and cuddling up for a nap. She’s great with children and other smaller dogs. We have 3 kids and 4 dogs total and just can’t give her the attention she deserves. She is the smallest out of all of our dogs and gets picked on by them. Recently we had a scare where they teamed up on her and I don’t want her to ever be in that situation again. As much as I love her and will miss her, I want her to go to a home where she is safe and loved like she deserves to be. She’s never been aggressive towards any dogs or humans. She’s never been around cats so I’m unsure of how she’d handle that one! Please message me with any other questions!

Allow me to introduce Edgar who I fondly call “Ole Dan.” He is a gorgeous red young boy. He is so sweet and loves to please. Dan would much rather act like a lap dog or sleep on the bed with you! As an old puppy / young boy, he is very well behaved. The exception would be his drive to explore so a good fence is a must. He loves water, tummy rubs, does not believe bunnies should be in his yard, and prefers you being home. This boy is not really food driven but does appreciate a nice treat. For his age, he is awesome and should turn into an excellent adult boy with a little more time and training. He is a pretty submissive boy, rides beautifully in a car, and would love a home that is active and will show him how much fun life can be. Meet Noodle!   He is a tall, slim, handsome guy who is ready for his forever home. He was out looking for help (or a new home) one day when he came across a couple who helped him find his owners. When the owners were not found, his helpers got him into rescue.  While TSBR generally does not have DNA results for dogs in the program, Noodles’ friends wanted to know what makes up this handsome boy.  72 % Poodle (Medium and Standard) 24 % Golden Retriever 3 % Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 1 % American Cocker Spaniel What a great testament to his fantastic personality! This playful, loving boy is fully vetted and ready to find his new home. Noodle loves all the people he meets. He knows sit, shake, down, and place, and is making good progress on leash training and can heel. He is house-trained and uses a dog door. Noodle sleeps quietly in either his kennel or on a dog bed by his foster’s bed. He does not get up on the furniture or ask to do so, but could probably be convinced if you would like this! Noodle is loved at the vet and great at the groomers. He loves car rides and will lie quietly on a pillow in the back seat.  Noodle does not jump on people or counter surf. He also is not a barker.  He is a trusted member of his foster family and has full range of the house when his fosters are away.     This energetic boy loves to play with other dogs.  He is considerate of older and smaller dogs as well.  He does play energetically with dogs his own age and size… his foster sister taught him that.  Recently, Noodle has shown interest in stuffed toys and a large ball he loves to chase and carry.
