🌞 Meet Jericho – Proof That Love Can Change Everything! 🌞 Sweet Jericho is around 1 yr old, and his name fits him perfectly—he’s a bright, happy boy whose light shines even after a rough start. When he was rescued, Jericho had been left outside, terribly matted and neglected. But with love, care, and a safe place to land, this goofy pup has completely come out of his shell. Now, everyone who meets him instantly falls in love! 💛 Jericho is neutered, fully vetted, potty trained, bell trained, and kennel trained—a total catch! He loves playing fetch, chewing on toys, and collecting little “treasures” when you’re not looking. He’s learned to sit and is working on stay, always eager to please and soak up praise. He’s great with kids and loves to be part of the fun, though he’s still learning some manners when he gets excited. Jericho would thrive with a larger dog friend to play with—he doesn’t quite realize his size around smaller pups! At the end of the day, this once-forgotten boy just wants to snuggle up close and be near his people. Jericho's heart is as big as his smile, and he’s ready to share it with a forever family who will never stop showing him the love he’s always deserved. ☀️🐾 *We would love to find Jericho a forever family, with another dog in the home, for companionship. Story
Georgia🖤 is in need of a foster home this weekend, while her current foster family travels, though she is now available for adoption! ✨️This fully vetted beauty is the most positive, loving and loyal companion. She’s great with kids (slightly older might be better), cats and we believe other dogs. She’s a glutton for attention and will move your hand where she wants to be petted or scratched (especially the belly!). One of her favorite things to do is crawl up into your lap and look longingly into your soul with her big brown eyes. She has the most beautiful non-shedding coat and is great with brushing. It’s hard to be in a bad mood with Georgia around! 🩷She is potty trained. She loves toys, especially challenging ones. She recently has learned fetch and is living her best life! She is always as excited about a nap with her people as she is about a play session. She’s very intelligent and learns quickly - more motivated by praise than treats. 💕 ⭐️She hasn’t needed to be crated as she’s non-destructive and a great house guest. 🐿Georgia is most at peace outside in a secure yard where she can watch birds and squirrels. 💜She has improved greatly on gently jumping on her adults looking for hugs but will need additional consistency. She also alerts indoors at squirrels and passersby. She has responded positively to telling her we see what she’s barking at and distracting her with a toy or fun training session, but will need further consistency. 🐩Georgia is in a foster home with no other animals, however, at vet visits she was great with the dogs and cats there. ♥️Her foster family absolutely adores her but knows long-term she will thrive with a backyard or consistently active to run off some young dog energy. We have no doubt she will bring so much joy to her forever family! She will be greatly missed! **** Georgia is a RUNNER, and will be gone quickly, if given the opportunity, so a secured way to keep her from bolting, is a MUST. Story
Boogie is a male doodle...fully vetted, and sweet as can be! He's approximately 1 1/2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Boogie is an easy dog to love...he follows his person around wherever they go, staying close, participating in the action. He is house broken, though does not do well in a kennel (he becomes agitated if confined in one). Boogie is friendly with other dogs. Barking is minimal...usually only when excited and playing or announcing visitors. He has been learning to walk on a leash and quickly getting the hang of it. He is curious to sniff everything, but is not pulling or darting. "Sit" is well established. additional basic commands are in progress. Boogie is quick to learn and anxious to please. With a little patience and lots of love, he will make the perfect companion! If interested in Boogie, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Hi! My name's Deuce (though I don't really know that). I'm a standard Bernedoodle and I'm 3 years old. I can't wait to meet my furever family! I'm 57 pounds but don't let my weight fool you, I'm tall and long. I'm just a little lanky right now until I add some weight. I love my foster family, including my foster sister, who is half my size. I wish she liked to play more. By play more, I really mean play ALL OF THE TIME. I have so much energy and I don't know how to fetch or play with toys, so playing with other dogs is my only outlet. I made a Great Dane friend. She likes to play, but even she gets tired after a few hours and I still want to play. Maybe it's because I'm happy, safe, and have a full belly or maybe I still have a lot of puppy energy. My ideal furever family will have one or two siblings that like to play as much as me. I'm good with dogs of all sizes and I encountered a cat at the vet, and that was fine too. Don't get me wrong. I can definitely settle when it's required. My foster mom has been teaching me about quiet time in the morning while she has her coffee and during the day when she's working. I loved my foster mom right from the start but it took me a little while to warm up to my foster dad. I have some stranger danger when it comes to men. I haven't met any kids yet but as long as they're nice to me, I bet I'll love them too, especially if they give me lots of pets and cuddles and let me kiss them. My foster mom says I have so much love to give. I'm just a gentle giant. If I'm not playing, I want to cuddle and give kisses. I love giving kisses. I love being with her all of the time. I have some separation anxiety. I get nervous when she leaves (even if my foster dad is home) or when I'm left alone. My foster mom can see me through the camera. I pace until she comes home. I hope my furever mommy works from home. I just want to be her shadow. I'm learning so much. I know a couple of commands, like sit and come. I also know what "no" means, though it makes me sad to hear it. We're working on lie down. I also learned that I don't like chicken. I like beef. I do have some food anxiety (but no food aggression). I really prefer that my foster mom hold my bowl while I eat. I've been on a few car rides to my foster grandparents' house for dinner. If I'm honest, the car makes me a little nervous too. I'll do it, but it's not one of my favorite things like it is for my foster sister. I'm a pretty good walker on a leash and can behave in stores and I wasn't scared of the vet, so I'm a great companion and up for anything, except maybe getting groomed. The sound of clippers and even the sight of a blow dryer scares me. **Another sweet playful dog is required, for any potential adopter If interested in Deuce, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Meet Coconut!  Coconut is one of fourteen precious puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Coconut and most of her siblings had to be bottle-fed — and this little girl has grown into a thriving, personality-packed sweetheart! Coconut is equal parts feisty and sweet. She has a confident, spunky side and isn’t afraid to make herself known — especially if she thinks it’s time for attention or snacks! She’s a bit vocal and expressive, which just adds to her charm and big personality. She absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. And food? Let’s just say she’s very motivated. Treats and mealtime are serious business in Coconut’s world — which will make training fun and rewarding! Despite her sassy streak, Coconut is incredibly loving and bonds closely with her people. She enjoys playing with her siblings, being in the middle of the action, and then settling down for cuddles once she’s gotten her energy out. Because she’s still young, Coconut is at a wonderful age to grow and adapt in just about any home. With proper introductions and continued socialization, she should do well with dogs, cats, kids, or as a solo pup who gets to be the star of the show. Coconut will be available for Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) on 3/6 at the earliest, with preference being between 3/11–3/18. What does Foster-to-Adopt mean?It means you bring Coconut home as a foster while she finishes up any remaining vetting (such as vaccines or spay, if age-appropriate). Once her vetting is completed through our rescue, the adoption gets finalized. It’s a great way to ensure a smooth transition while we complete her medical care! If you’re looking for a bold, funny, food-loving little firecracker who will keep you laughing and loving, Coconut might just be your girl.  ##2650453##

Meet Mango!  Mango is one of fourteen precious puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Mango and most of her siblings had to be bottle-fed — and she has grown into one of the sweetest, most loving little girls you’ll ever meet. Mango is a total snuggle bug. She loves to be held like a baby and will happily melt right into your arms. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be close, Mango is your girl. She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on being loved on. She’s also one of the most tender-hearted of her litter — gentle, sweet, and eager to connect. Mango is a little vocal (in the cutest way!) and isn’t shy about letting you know when she wants attention or when she’s excited. And if there’s a crinkly toy nearby? It’s game over. She absolutely lights up for that crinkle sound and will happily entertain herself — or you — with it. Because she’s still young, Mango is at the perfect age to grow and adapt beautifully in just about any home. With proper introductions and continued socialization, she should do well with dogs, cats, kids, or as a solo pup soaking up all the snuggles. Mango will be available for Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) on 3/6 at the earliest, with preference being between 3/11–3/18. Meet Kiwi! Kiwi is one of fourteen precious puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Kiwi and most of her siblings had to be bottle-fed — and she has grown into a happy, healthy, thriving little girl! Kiwi has a wonderfully balanced personality. She’s perfectly content being loved on and soaking up attention from her people, but she’s also confident enough to entertain herself and do her own thing. She’s the kind of pup who can enjoy a cuddle session and then toddle off to explore or play independently. She loves romping around with her siblings and joining in on puppy playtime, but she’s not overly clingy — she has a calm, easygoing way about her that makes her such a joy to be around. Because she’s still young, Kiwi is at a beautiful age to grow and adapt in just about any home.
