Story
Meet Junebug a goofy, loyal, and food-obsessed sweetheart! She’s independent but loves following her favorite human around, zooming with excitement and showing off her expressive “satellite” ears. Chicken jerky and cottage cheese? Her absolute favorites! Junebug is shy around men, and loud noises or busy streets can make her nervous, so she’ll do best in a calm, patient home with a woman, and without kids or other pets. She’s smart listens well and knows how to use a doggy door. She loves car rides, chew toys, and being safely in her humans’ company. Junebug is a quirky, loving, and fiercely loyal girl who just needs a patient home to truly shine. Are you ready to fall in love?! Junebug's adoption fee of $300 includes a microchip, vaccinations, and spay surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours. Story
Cowboy was one of 92 dogs chained up on a property in Mississippi, the owner of the property said Cowboy would probably be the only dog we wouldn’t be able to take, due to him being "human-aggressive". We promised him we'd get him off that chain. When we got Cowboy off the chain he had lived on for 7 years, I had a different dog in front of me. A friendly dog! We made the trek back to AZ, and Cowboy is EASILY the happiest dog I have ever met! Cowboy would do best with someone who enjoys being active! He LOVES to run next to us on the bike, and the skateboard, and is an all-star at the slatmill! I would say he’s making up for lost time! He does well on a leash and is great in public. He would do best with female dogs, but no cats. Cowboy is shy, sweet, and has a very forgiving heart. Interested in adopting Cow? Story
Meet Ebony! She is a beautiful black Labrador mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s an adult dog, but don’t let that fool you—this girl still has plenty of happy, puppy-like energy! She loves to play, move, and be part of whatever fun is happening around her. Ebony is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She enjoys human company and is the kind of dog who will happily follow you around, ready for cuddles or playtime. Because she still has that youthful bounce, Ebony would do best in a home with a yard where she can run and burn off her energy. An apartment wouldn’t be ideal for her active lifestyle. She will need to meet any children in the family. If this youthful pup sounds like the girl for you bring the family down to HALO and meet this girl today!

Story
This super sweet, affectionate girl is Karma. She loves belly rubs and rolling around in the grass. Karma is a Baladi dog who came to us from Egypt where she lost her legs at the hands of a cruel human being. She has since had both legs properly amputated. She is also incontinent. She has a wheelchair, but moves along perfectly without one. This Egyptian princess is pure love! Story
Why did the blind dog cross the road? Because she couldn't see what was on the other side! Ha-ha, get it?! A blind dog can't see! I am SO silly! And I'm blind, but that obviously doesn't hamper my ability to be happy and have fun, I just bump into things sometimes. My playing skills are top notch, almost as good as my snuggling skills! And if you combine those two you'll understand how I'm such a good wrestler with my dog friends. My best friend in the whole wide world is Meeka!  We need to go to a home together. I'm talkative, so you can be sure I'll tell you what I'm thinking! Like how I caught Valley Fever when I was younger and need to take meds for the rest of my life, but nowadays I'm doing amazing! I'm like a little caterpillar who had to work really hard to survive and now I've transformed into this beautiful, strong butterfly who is ready for her own home. If you're ready for a chatty, sassy, and snuggly best friend, contact Mayday to tell them you'd like to adopt the pretty little butterfly! If you, or someone you know, are interested in adopting or fostering, please visit our site at www.maydaypitbullrescue.org or send us an email at info@maydaypitbullrescue.org ##654654##

Story
I'm a lover! I love people. Getting and giving attention and affection is my specialty. I'm great with other dogs! I love the outdoors! I was born to sunbathe and play in the dirt. I have my own special way of walking since I have two legs. I can outrun you if i wanted to but I'd much rather have you love on me. Majestic, grace, resilience, affectionate, calm, happy, loving, survivor, and feisty are just some of my descriptors. I am paralyzed from the waist down so I have no control over my bladder or bowels and I dribble a bit when I walk. It's been a while since I tried a diaper, since I love being outside so much, it hasn't been necessary. I was rescued from Saudi Arabia where doctors believed I was hit by a car which left me paralyzed. I was left in the streets to fend for myself while dragging my legs until some kind people took me in and helped me heal. I am now ready to find my forever home where people will love me for how affectionate I am and not judge me based on how I look. I had a rough go of it but my resilience and will to live shine brighter than any diamond or star in the sky. Would you like to be greeted by my warm smile and affectionate gaze everyday when you come home? Email Mayday today! *As someone who knows Tinkerbell and has witnessed her love in person, I get goosebumps just thinking about how amazing this girl is. Nothing would bring me more happiness than seeing her in a home of her own. She has traveled from across the globe, been through hell and back, and it still amazes me every day how sweet she is. No other creature on this planet gives love like that of a rescued dog.* If you, or someone you know, are interested in adopting or fostering, please visit our site at www.maydaypitbullrescue.org or send us an email at info@maydaypitbullrescue.org ##654655##
