Story
Bella is an incredible dog! Bella is loyal, protective and loving. She’s a great protector! When we found her she was being tied to a pole and her owners left her. We were going for a walk in the park and o truly believe that was the start of her separation anxiety. She suffers from really bad anxiety. Bella does great with other pets, she loves to run and play and is a high energy dog. Would do great in a fenced in yard. Because Bella is so protective she doesn’t like to see play fighting or any type of hitting. I have recently had a little boy as we have 3 children now and Bella doesn’t really seem to care for smaller children. Once they’re older she’s okay but as younger babes and crawling and such she doesn’t seem to handle them well. Bella is a great guard dog. She really is a great dog and it makes me sad to rehome her but at this time we just can’t keep her.

Meet Kevin (male) and Karen (female). They were adopted from Northeast Ohio SPCA in February 2025 at 10ish weeks old. They are litter mates from Georgia. They have had all of their shots and check ups. They were spayed and neutered in July 2025. Due to our family size and extra curricular activities, we have failed to be there for them and provide the proper care and maintenance that they deserve. They are not house broken and spend most of their day outside enjoying the summer air. They are great around kids and have never shown aggression towards humans. They are great around some dogs but tend to “pack” so other dogs have found it overwhelming. Would like to rehome together as they are bonded

This handsome guy is sweet, shy, timid, and basically a delicate woodland creature learning that couches, humans, and love are all safe. He’s nervous and easily startled (sneezes are suspicious), but here’s the important part: zero aggression. None. Not even when he’s scared. Just big eyes and gentle vibes. He came to us after being rescued from a house fire, and while he’s safe now, it explains why the world still feels a little overwhelming sometimes. Despite that rough start, he remains incredibly gentle and trusting—just taking things at his own pace. His highlights: Rarely barks — like, pretty much mute. A dream neighbor dog.Gets along great with cats and other dogs.Not destructive… but will quietly rearrange your rugs, pillows, and socks like an interior designer with paws.Would LOVE a giant basket of toys to proudly drag around the house.Crate trained and genuinely enjoys his safe space.Baths? Not his favorite. (Same, honestly.)Starting to cuddle as he warms up — slow burn, but worth it.Semi house-trained - doing well, but still needs some consistency and patience as he settles in. He is still nervous with his foster parents, but every day he takes tiny brave steps forward. He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply once he feels safe and will be endlessly loyal to his person. Hi, my name is Archer, and I'm an energetic, loving boy looking for my forever home. One of my absolute favorite things to do is play catch. I prefer Kong tennis balls. I also love long walks, so id be a great match for someone who enjoys staying active. When playtime is over, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I love car rides and when I've been a good boy, I enjoy an occasional pup cup as a special treat. I am fully potty trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I have lots of energy, so I do best with regular exercise to be happy and balanced. To relax, I love bully sticks and occasionally peanut butter in my Kong. I am a smart boy. I know how to sit, lay down, give both paws and I even wait patiently for the eat command before meals. Speaking of meals, I love blueberries in my breakfast. Important to know: I would be best as the only dog in the home, as I'm not comfortable living with other dogs.

Please contact Jamie (jamie@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet. Meet Isaiah! Isaiah is a 1-3 year old lab mix. He is around 50lbs. Isaiah is the happiest boy and knows his tricks! Isaiah also does pretty well on a leash and plays nicely with the other dogs at the shelter. Isaiah would love a family to call his own. His adoption fee is $300.
