Jake is a laid-back guy who enjoys spending time with his people. Like many young dogs, Jake could benefit from some basic training and continued guidance. He already knows how to sit, and with a little patience, consistency, and a pocket full of treats, we think he'll be eager to learn more. Jake's favorite thing is simply being with his humans. Whether you're heading out for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or tackling your daily routine, Jake is happy to be your sidekick. He's a sweet, easygoing boy looking for someone willing to help him become the best dog he can be. Cats? That's still a mystery. Jake hasn't met any feline roommates yet, so we can't say whether he'll want to be best friends or simply pretend they don't exist. Jake has been exposed to Lyme disease but is currently asymptomatic. He is being treated with doxycycline (doxy) and is doing well. His adopter should continue routine veterinary care, including annual Lyme disease screening and any follow-up recommendations from your veterinarian. Jake is currently staying at our shelter so we cannot say whether or not he’s housebroken. His new family should be prepared to take on house training, which is to be expected whenever bringing a new pet home, he will need some time to adjust and get in to a routine. Meet Angie! At 8 months old and just over 40 pounds, she's playful, curious and absolutely convinced that every person she meets is interested in her! If you're looking for a dog who respects personal space, Angie would like to apologize in advance. Wherever you are is exactly where Angie thinks she should be. Making coffee? Angie is supervising. Walking to the bathroom? Angie has decided that's a group activity. She adores her person, loves children, and hands out kisses like they're going out of style. Her tail has two settings: wagging and wagging harder. Although she may look grown up, Angie still has plenty of puppy in her. Her playful energy, and occasional questionable decision-making skills will atest to that. Her latest discovery? Nature has an endless supply of stick just for her! She tries to sneak them into the house every chance she gets, but still better than an interest in shoes, so we're calling it a win. Angie is a smart girl who genuinely enjoys learning. She is housebroken, crate trained and leash trained. She sleeps in a crate beside her foster family's bed and can't wait to jump into her cozy space at bedtime. Her favorite part of the day is convincing another dog to play chase with her and would be happiest with a canine brother or sister to wrestle, play, and burn off energy with. A securely fenced yard is also a must. She's not an escape artist, but she can jump high when properly motivated. She also walks well on leash and makes an excellent hiking buddy. While she's not a constant barker, she does have an impressive voice when she decides something is worth announcing, so apartment or shared-wall living is not a good fit. Because of her age and personality, she isn't looking for a home where she'll spend long days crated and alone. Angie is still a young dog who needs activity, guidance, and people who have time to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing family dog she's already well on her way to becoming. Josie is the sweetest girl ever! 2 year old lab mix. I got her from the shelter 6 months ago. And a week into being with her I discovered I’m allergic to her. I have been trying for the past 6 months to deal with it. In different medicine and shoes. Nothing has helped. So my doctor believes it’s best that I give her away so I can get better. Jojo is super smart. House/crate trained. Spayed. Easy going. Great cuddler. Mild mannered. She is shy and timid at first but will open up with right people. (I believe she may hvbeen abused before) She loves to run and play but also she loves to chill. She will be a great companion for anyone. She’s the best!

This is tank. He is a purebred black lab in need of rehoming. We live in an apartment and he barks in the middle of the night due to being in the crate but he does not bark when he sleeps in our bed. We have tried everything from bark collars to muzzles to professional training but unfortunately we have gotten a lot of noise complaints so he is in need of a home. he is 9 months old and potty trained as well as he does not need to be in the crate during the day.
