Story

Peanut is a handsome yellow Lab just over 1 year old. We adopted him as a young puppy from a local private shelter. He is neutered, up to date on medical care, house trained, and crate trained. He is a fun, affectionate, people-oriented dog who loves being part of the family. He has grown up with our three children, ages 12, 10, and 9, and loves playing with them. He enjoys running in the yard, chasing a ball, wrestling with the kids, and relaxing with the family. He also does well with our outdoor cat and chickens. Peanut is smart and knows several commands, including sit, lay down, come, go, place, high five, “dead,” and go to his crate. He walks nicely on a leash and does well when left alone. He may be cautious or protective when new people first arrive, but he warms up quickly and has never bitten or snapped. We feel Peanut would do best with a loving family, ideally with children and a yard where he can run and play.

Story

Autumn is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love and a dash of mischief! She adores playtime and snuggles, making her the perfect companion for both active adventures and cozy evenings. Autumn gets along wonderfully with cats and shows no signs of food or toy aggression. We do feel that she would do best in a home with no other dogs. She thrives in a fenced-in area where she can unleash her zoomies and show off her playful spirit. While she’s on the smaller side, she’s got some impressive hops—so a secure yard is a must! Autumn is a true sweetheart with a wild side, ready to bring laughter, love, and a little bit of sass into your life. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org
