Yes Good with other dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? With close monitoring Commands known: None, Comes to name when called Needs fenced in yard? Yes Need another dog in the home? Yes! Playmate required Location: Delaware/Columbus, OH Energy level (high/med/low)? High Bio: My name is Kanga and I'm SO EXCITED to meet you! I'm a gorgeous, spunky chocolate lab puppy who is looking for a family to call mine and who will love me forever and ever. My journey for a family started when I was purchased from a breeder at 8 weeks old and then returned the same day when they realized I was blind and had a seizure. The breeder then brought me to a vet office to be euthanized! Well luckily they were super nice and one of the techs said 'no way!' and took me in for a few months to get me healthy and then they reached out to Speak who was happy to take me in. Speak got me tons of specialized test and vet care where I was diagnosed with congenital optic nerve hypoplasia. In normal people words that means I was born blind and unfortunately there's no treatment for this but I've never known any different and this condition should never cause me any additional problems in the future. I also saw a neurologist who has me on daily medications to help control my seizures. I now live with two cats and two dogs and do very well with everyone. I'm a young, silly girl and so I run into things a lot including my foster siblings but I always respond immediately when they "politely" ask that I not step on their tails. I don't bother our kitties; since I can't see them I'm not even sure if I know they're there. I'm blind so I march really cutely when I walk to 'map' the area. I have a habit of chewing on things due to being blind I sometimes have a hard time telling the difference between chew things and non-chew things. I love to meet people and am the most friendly little pup you've ever met but because of my mouth-for-eyes I probably wouldn't do well with a family with young children. I would do best with a family who is home frequently to keep an eye on me and keep my puppy brain entertained. I would love some very tolerant, playful fur friends to help guide and teach me things. I do well in my crate and love to run circles or play with toys in the back yard. I'm working on leash walking but am doing well on a harness. Like any good Labrador, I LOVE FOOD and food puzzle toys (Kongs, snuffle mats, wobble balls). If you're looking for an amazing, jumping, hilarious, special little pup I'm your girl! I promise to make you smile every day and love you forever. ##1360954##

Story
Bucky has a few years on him, but will make a wonderful companion for the right person. He can sit, stay, down on command (especially for Pupperoni). His owner is no longer able to care for herself or her pets. He is not terribly active and happy to lounge on the sofa! He's a friend who just wants to be with you :) He appears to have a grass allergy, and is on Apoquil for this, which is a prescription medication, but he might do well on zyrtec, which he hasn't tried. He has had excellent veterinary care his entire life, and his teeth are in great shape. Over the years he has tried some bad behaviors, which were not corrected, and has had maybe four or five incidents of food and leash aggression (hey, nobody's perfect!), so he needs to go to an experienced owner who will make him sit and stay before meals. He has not been around children. He will be a great companion for someone who is willing to give him a chance, and spend a little time bringing out his princely side!

Story
Looking for loving home! I found him a little over a month ago on the side of the road with no collar. I posted him on multiple platforms and nobody has claimed him and he was not microchipped. I have taken him to the vet and got him up-to-date on all of his shots and had him neutered . We have named him Poncho. The vet thinks that he is about three years old and that he is possibly a Shepherd lab mix. He is smart and very loving and cuddly, and just wants to be around people. He is housebroken and he knows sit and he loves to play fetch and play with toys. We always put him through a bored and train program where he did very well and learned a lot

Story
We rescued her from an animal shelter in southern Ohio. She was not what we were expecting. Much larger than the description and a different breed than we were expecting. She is sweet to humans but has some fear of certain males (barks until they pet her). I don’t think that she had other dogs around her as she is shy and has shown some aggression to our older dog. They do not get along and need to be separated from each other for safety. I think she would do best as an only dog. Don’t want her back in a shelter so looking for her perfect loving forever home.

Story
Marcie or Purdy is a super lovey velcro dog. She’s is a sweet heart and VERY high energy. Marcie loves other dogs and playing at the park. She knows sit, stay, come, lay down, and is extremely intelligent. Shes not terrible with cats but she will try to play with them without realizing how big she is. She good with humans aswell. I have to work over 40 hours a week now so I do not have enough time to give her and she deserves more. I have all her toys, harness, outside leash etc. Marcie needs someone who can give her daily exercise and park time as much as possible or at least another dog for her.

Story
Cocoa is an adorable ball of energy. We adopted her from the Franklin County Shelter about a month ago, but we have found we cannot handle her along with our previous dog because of busy work/school schedules (she needs lots of exercise). We do not know her age or breed for sure, but the shelter estimated her to be from 2-5 years old. She is the most lovable sweet girl- wants to be all over you any chance she gets, easily shows affection, loves to cuddle, etc. She seems to be getting the hang of house training, but she is still having accidents if not monitored and let out often. She has lots of energy, and loves to go for runs/walks and play with chew toys. That being said, she can be quite a snuggly couch potato too. She gets along really well with our German Shepherd and loves to play with him; he never used to run and play outside so much before we got her. We are looking for a loving and dedicated home for our sweet girl, we will miss her! Also, Cocoa can jump veryyy high!
