Story
Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!! She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. She knows sit and working with her on paw and lay down. Now because of her age she still has the puppy tendencies but she loves going on walks but someone who is patient with her will be able to teach her that chasing cars is not okay. She follows my kids around the yard and plays with them and she loves the snuggles. She is incredibly smart and would make a great family dog. She is an all-around good girl who is just looking for a family to love me. If you think you could be that family, Located in North Texas, Transport fee included

Story
HeroMaleAge: 3 yearsWeight: 65 lbsBreed: Bulldog/Lab MixTrial Adoption Eligible Hey, I’m Hero — though around my foster home I also answer to Sweet Boy, Short King, Hot Dog, and Piggie. I wear them all with pride. I’m about three years old and finally learning how to just be a dog. It’s been a journey, but I’m figuring it out — learning to trust my humans, enjoy structure, and feel safe in my space. I’m fully house trained and crate trained, walk nicely on leash, and honestly? I’m a pretty chill dude. Like, surprisingly chill. I don’t get into things I shouldn’t, I enjoy routines, and I really just want to be part of your world — preferably while holding your hand, licking peanut butter off a spoon, or soaking up morning snuggles. I’ve got a solid list of commands under my belt: sit, come, down, leave it, let’s go, place, and now shake. I thrive with positive reinforcement (and maybe a blueberry or two). I feel safest with gentle structure, clear boundaries, and humans who recognize how smart I am and keep my brain engaged with walks, training, puzzles, and games. Some of my favorite things include watching baseball (from the couch), yoga (yes, really), fenced-in backyards, long walks in any weather, and being near my people. I’m deeply loyal, affectionate, and incredibly bonded to my humans once I trust them. That said, it’s important to be honest about what I need to succeed. Over time, it’s become clear that I do best as the only animal in the home. I have shown resource guarding and reactive behaviors when other animals are present, and for everyone’s safety, I need a calm, predictable environment without other pets. Because of this, I’m also not a good fit for homes with children under 15. I’m not a “take me everywhere” kind of dog — I’m a ride-or-die companion for the right person. The kind who will quietly love you with his whole heart, make you laugh daily with his goofy underbite, and show you what it means to be truly grateful to be safe, understood, and chosen. If you’re an experienced, patient adopter looking for a deeply devoted companion and are willing to honor my boundaries, I promise I’ll give you everything I’ve got. To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. Apply to adopt Hero at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 15+ ##2188352##

Story
Hi, I’m Mars! I am a friendly boy and I like to be your little shadow. I am a quick learner and doing well on leash walking and potty training. I learned a few tricks like sit, touch, and down. I am working on crate training and meeting new animals because sometimes I bork bork at them, but I am learning to be calm around new friends. I am living with dogs of all sizes and ages and learning how to be a respectable young man. I have a big ol’ head but it’s more rectangular (not rounded like a pittie). I would probably do well in a home with other dogs who tolerate puppies, and any humans including kids. I haven’t met a cat yet- bet I will bork at them at first and then probably be fine. I hope to meet my new family soon! More info about Mars: DOB: 2/7/26 estimated Weight: 26 lbs, puppy weight calculator says he should mature around 90 Breed: mom was a lab or lab mix (photos at end), dad is unknown but maybe a hound/husky mix (his brother, Snickers, has a blue eye and they will have medium length fur).   Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 11, 2026, 11:48 am

Story
Hi, I’m Snickers! I’m a Labrador/Husky/Hound mix pup. I was born this February and am already 26lbs! I am estimated to be a very big boy (maybe even 90lbs according to the predicted dog weight calculator).  I’m in the process of learning all the puppy basics like house and crate training. I already know sit and down My new adopters will need to keep up my training so I grow up to be a confident and happy dog! P.S. I love treats, so those will definitely help me learn!  I can be chill but I am a puppy, after all! My favorite thing is belly rubs and pets! I howl/bark when seeing other dogs but it’s because I want to play with them!  A Good Samaritan saved us after learning my siblings and I were going to be abandoned. A few people chipped in to get us fixed! My brother, Mars, is available for adoption with PAWS! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 11, 2026, 11:48 am

Story
Gus is a loving, affectionate 7-year-old Lab Pit mix who weighs 58lbs. This handsome boy shines when he feels safe. He’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, curling up for cozy cuddles on the couch or bed. Gus loves playing with stuffed animals — carrying them, squeaking them, and enjoying tug or fetch. He attended a board and training facility and knows excellent manners: “place,” sit, lay down, shake, and even give hugs on command. At 7, he has a calm, loving adult personality with playful moments.Important notes:•  Single-dog home only — Gus resource guards and doesn’t always get along with other dogs.•  Afraid of men; takes time to warm up (best with patient, slow introductions; women as primary caregiver ideal).•  Scared of the vet but always praised for being good and patient.Gus is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, house-trained, and loves Greenie toothbrushes. He’ll thrive with someone experienced with shy dogs who can give him time to trust and blossom. He has so much love to give!
