Story
Asher is a handsome brindle boy with the most beautiful green eyes! He is a confident boy who LOVES to run around and play with toys and play with her foster sister. He LOVES all toys! He is very energetic, but can also entertain himself with fun toys and quality chews. He loves to be right by your side and cuddle with you after playing. His favorite toys are squeaky balls and toys that he can carry around and squeak. He would do best in a fenced in yard. He would do best in a home with older children due to him in his teething stage right now. He is learning to redirect to a chew toy. He is looking for an active family who will take him on lots of walks, fun adventures and give him plenty of exercise. He LOVES walking and would be a great hiking partner and anything outdoors! He would be an awesome doggie daycare too! He went to daycare and LOVED the structured play with other pups! He is doing is doing well with the potty training process, but will need a consistent, patient family to continue this process. He is crate trained and is adjusting to being in there well through out the night. He is a smart boy and is showing progress each day learning a lot! He is working on his puppy commands and manners. He will need a patient, consistent family to continue his training. He will ready for puppy classes when he is adopted. We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes. If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this adorable boy into you home, please apply to meet her at PetPromise.org Please fill out an adoption application at PetPromise.org We only adopt out in Columbus, Ohio area only. Story
I’m Trixie! I was found all by myself in a creek bed, I don’t know what happened to my mom or siblings. Despite a tough start in my young life, I’m brave, sweet, silly, and super affectionate. I love to be with my person as much as possible! I’m a cuddler and like to be carried around. Chew toys are my favorite. I am crate trainjng and learning how to go potty outside. I do well with dogs and cats and love to be around people. I’m pretty much a perfect puppy!! We are guessing she will be on the smaller side and her breed mix is a guess! :) She is looking for an active family who will take her on lots of walks and give her plenty of exercise. She loves taking walks and loves being out and about exploring the outside world! She LOVES to be outside playing! She is looking for a family to give her a lot of fun adventures around the city! She is working on potty trained, but will need consistency to continue her progress. She is a smart girl and is showing progress each day learning a lot! She is working on her puppy commands and manners. She will need a patient, consistent family to continue her training. She will ready for puppy classes when she is adopted. She is a very confident puppy and has a very strong willed personality, so she would do best with an experienced owner who is ready to have an awesome puppy in their lives! We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes. If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this lovable girl into you home, please apply to meet her. Story
Let me introduce you to Jeter, a joyous, playful and 5 yr old teenage lab. I adopted Jeter in 2019 from Madison County humane society mainly because he was the most well behaved dog in the kennel. However, I was in for so much more. Jeter has such a personality and likes to go swimming in the nearest watering location, he has a duck squeaky toy that we had to buy all four on the shelf because he lost his last one and some how was able to grab all four with his mouth. Jeter also like to play fetch a lot and if you mix that with swimming, he will jump off the dock into the water to fetch whatever stick he found on his walk or toy you bought with you. Jeter is a house trained dog and will let you know when he has to go relive himself. Jeter needs a home with a family who loves the outdoors and like to sit and watch movies with (he watches a lot of Disney and superhero movies), lastly, Jeter needs a home with a family who will love him just as much as did.

Story
BugFemaleAge: 14 monthsWeight: 41 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi! I’m Bug! My foster family says I am part Love-Bug and part Cuddle-Bug! I get along with other dogs and cats (I live with a cat and will sometimes chase the cat in “play mode” but I will also let the cat nap next to me on the couch, so we get along well). I have not been around kids to know how I would do with them though. I am house trained and crate trained and really don’t mind sleeping in my crate, but I do really love sleeping in bed next to my humans (sometimes I nose my way under the covers). I walk well on a leash and really love walking around the neighborhood. My favorite toy is any kind of ball (especially bouncy or squeaky ones)! I can play fetch with myself, tossing it up in the air then pouncing on it! When I was just a young pup, my previous owner was not kind to me and I needed medical care to survive. That chapter is now behind me, but because of that background, I do take some time to warm up to new people (especially men). Treats, patience, calm energy, and more treats are the way to my heart. Your gentle, patient approach will be rewarded with all the cuddles and tail wags when I learn to trust you. I do bark at new people because I am scared, but once they’ve paid the “treat tax”, I quiet down and will make friends. I also LOVE to eat and have learned how to sit and wait until I’m told “Ok” before I chow down. I have lived with a variety of other foster dogs and love to play with them (especially wrestling) but I am serious about all the balls belonging to me so a dog that won’t mind when I steal the ball from them would be ideal if I will have a dog sibling. If you are interested in meeting Bug, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##1892497##

JasonMaleD.O.B. 01/18/2024Estimated weight: 50-60 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi! I’m Jason! I am a very fun, playful and loving guy who gets along great with other dogs and cats and even kids! I am crate trained and because I am still young am working on my house training and will need breaks throughout the day. I am doing really well with my potty training so far though.  I really enjoy playing with other dogs and humans and haven’t met a person or dog I don’t love. I am really pretty happy and easy-going.  I love all treats and I really enjoy chewing on hard toys as well as anything that squeaks and running around outside is pretty fun too. I also like to cuddle and already know the command “sit”. I cannot wait to find my very own family who will give me all the love, attention and cuddles I deserve. I will also need to neutered when I am old enough. If you are interested in meeting this happy and playful guy, apply to adopt him at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $395 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##1994041##
