Story
HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email me for an application.

Story
MEET HOLT! Holt is a 2-year-old Black Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a good, happy boy who is full of life, and still a puppy at heart. He is dog friendly, people friendly and affectionate! He is loyal, gentle and smart! While he loves companionship, he also can be independent and dignified. Holt needs an active person or people as he's quite athletic and will benefit from regular exercise, like walks, hikes or runs. He pulls a bit on a leash but is easily corrected. He is a sweet boy, and weighs about 60-65 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
WOOF! I'M HANK! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old Labrador Retriever-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I'm a smart, mellow, loyal and loving dog who has been overlooked for far too long! I can be a bit shy when I first meet you, and when I go to my new home, will need some time to adjust with a patient person or people. Unexpected noises etc. scare me a bit, so I would do best in a quiet environment where I can feel secure, with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm also independent and not super needy, and I love to go for walks. I am strong so could use a strong owner. I do get along with other dogs (see video with my brother Holt, who also needs a home), but would probably do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M SWEET THELMA! A 1-1/2-year-old small lab mix (possibly mixed with a little pittie or ridgeback or shepherd but we're not sure) in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 48 lbs! I was rescued from a crowded California in the nick of time, where I was kenneled with other dogs. I'm great with dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm still a bit of a puppy and am learning how to walk well on a leash, not jump up on people and sit for treats. I would love a wonderful home where I can be loved and taken for walks, hikes and other outings. I'd do best in a home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids (over 8). Please email for an application.
