Story
We are needing to rehome our very sweet family dog. This is Deacon. He’s a yellow lab and terrier mix. He’s about 6 or 7 years old, VERY sweet around kids, loves playing fetch, is very obedient, crate trained, and e-collar trained. If you want a dog who has had excellent training, does not chew on your stuff and is generally chill, this is your boy! He doesn’t even jump up on furniture unless invited. His favorite way to chill is in his crate! We’ve been his family for the past 3 years. I’ve simply found it harder than I anticipated to share a small space with him and maintain a busy homeschooling schedule. He seems to do fine around other dogs but I’ve not seen him around cats or other small animals. He is neutered and had his shots up until we got him. He’s been very healthy and we’ve not had any vet bills. Serious enquiries only please. We have kids and I don’t want to yo-yo their emotions. 😥 Deacon will come with his crate, leashes, e-collar and his toys!

Story
Barry is such a sweet dog. He loves belly rubs, playing tug-fetch, and smelling everything he can on walks. Barry likes all treats, even veggies. He's never had a potty accident inside and isn't destructive to shoes, furniture, etc. (except for his own toys).Barry's great with adult humans, but not with most animals. He has a prey drive for small animals, sometimes herds and plays rough with other dogs, and fought with a dog that had escaped its fence while Barry and I were on a walk. It was unclear who started the fight, and fortunately neither dog was severely injured.I got Barry from a shelter 5yrs ago, and he's at least 9yrs old now. He had been surrendered severely underweight, with skin infections, and with a wounded ear that required surgery. He now just needs his ears cleaned regularly and has had some joint inflammation recently.Despite his faults, he'd be a great pet for folks without other animals who just want to give a sweet doggo a better life than his started out.

Story
Bella came from the streets of downtown Portland into our home when she was about a year and a half. She lived with homeless people and had a rough life. When we brought her home, she didn’t know how to play with a toy and she was very scared and timid. She will be 10 years old in November and during the time that she has lived with us, she is faithful to her owner and very protective. She shy around new people and doesn’t care for other animals. She does Best being an only dog and not around kids. She loves treats and food. She will be your best friend if you give her treats. She isn’t very active, now that she’s getting older. She’s content just laying around in the house and like I said when it’s sunny, she loves to sit outside with owner.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
Juniper Grace was born in October, 2020 and we adopted her as a puppy. Many people think she is still a puppy because of her puppy-like ears and shiny coat. She has lived her life primarily as an in-home pet but has the energy for a fenced yard and loves to sniff out moles, rats or other varmints. Juniper is very smart and is trained to sit, lay down, relax & leave-it. She loves walks and meeting new people but can get nervous if someone pets her too much. She has not had a lot of experience around kids and tends to be reactive to other dogs unless she is able to get to know them. Juni was diagnosed with a heart murmur at her first vet visit and we were told by a veterinarian cardiologist that she would only live 3 years. Now at almost 6 she is going strong! All of our kids have moved out and my husband and I are down-sizing so we yearn for her to find a perfect home. She loves attention and would respond readily to receiving more attention that we can give her.
