Story
Dublin is a purebred, 9 year old, Yellow male who was surrendered with his brother Cowan by his Owner because she was unable to afford medical care for the boys. Dublin is good with dogs, men, women and kids. Dublin lived with kids 2 and 5 years old. He is good with cats and has lived with them in the past. Dublin does not seem to have any fear issues with people, storms or fireworks. He knows sit and paw but still needs practice. Dublin hasn’t had much leash experience. He pulls a lot walking on a flat collar and harness. Dublin will readily jump into the car. Because of his excitement and attempts to ride shotgun, he needs to be tethered. When he’s full of energy he will often whine excitedly during the car ride. When he’s tired he’s more chill. Dublin alert barks and will jump up onto the couch and windowsill to join the chorus of dogs alerting us to neighbors walking down the street or company arriving. Dublin is not crated and is reliable left with run of the house providing all food is away. He has taken and emptied a closed treat jar kept on a chest by the front door, and chewed open a large bag of dog food and biscuits that were not put away. He has also taken cereal and yogurt off the table when left unattended. Dublin loves his people! He wants to be with you all the time and will follow you from room to room. He will get up on the couch to enjoy some snuggle time. He likes to sleep in bed with you and cuddled up close. Dublin enjoys snuggling with his peeps, chewing bones and exploring in the yard. He doesn’t play with our dogs but has enjoyed playing chase with smaller, younger dogs that have visited. Dublin has had ear infections. He has multiple fatty lumps and a darkened tooth that the vet is not concerned about. Dublin is now ready to find his Forever Home. Could it be with you?
