Meet Randy!  Randy has been seeking his forever home for a long time!  Randy was brought into foster as a skinny stray and has made tremendous strides since being placed in foster care.  Randy has put on weight and begun to enjoy the comforts of having a home.  Although Randy is approximately 12 years young, he still has a lot of spunk left in him and really enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard.  Randy does have some arthritis as does any pup his age so he does need minimal steps but has gotten a lot stronger over the last months.  Randy is house broken and doesn't need to be crated when left at home. Hi, I'm Ruby! My nicknames are Ruby Dooby Doo, Rubes, and Ruby Tuesday. I'm a 2 year-old female with 48lb of love to give you. I'm full grown, fixed, up to date on my shots, and getting really good at going potty outside and other doggie manners like that. My adopter should be willing to keep me on a regular potty schedule and make sure I continue to use my crate. Speaking of adopters, I *really* want a mommy in my home. I am kinda fearful of men, and it might take me a little while to trust any guys in the home. These foster people have been taking me out to pet stores and events, which is helping me to learn maybe human guys aren't scary after all. I get along well with boy doggos though!  In fact, I get along pretty well with most of the doggies I have met as long as they're my size (or smaller) and don't want to play 24/7. I love love love to play and wrestle, but I also need my downtime. That being said, I'd really like a home with at least one other dog - but they should be medium energy. I might be young but I don't want to play all day everyday. A girl's gotta get her beauty rest to continue to look this good! So, if you have another medium energy doggo or two, we can run around and play and then get a good nap! Hmmm what else? I could live in single family home, duplex, condo, etc but don't think an apartment building is best for me. I'd really love a fenced in yard and/or access to outdoor space. Except I don't want to go walking near busy roads or by loud kids on the playground because that scares me! I'd much rather be one with nature. Then, after our walkies, we can cuddle on the couch together, cause I'm just so good at snuggling and making people happy. My foster mommy said I am a dopamine machine! I really really enjoy my cuddle time and will sit patiently waiting for my time to get me some lovins! I love to curl up right next to you and get as close as possible. And oh, did I mention how I will do anything for belly rubs?!!!! This ole boy hasn't let life get me down. 'It Happened One Night', I found myself in the local doggie jail, thinking I was gonna be doing 10 to life, but the judge was lenient and I'm out on parole for good behavior (and I really am a good boy!). I'm a very laid back and mellow fella, going with the flow, not wanting to make any extra work, which makes for me to be a great family addition even for a first time pet parent. My name is Cub and I am an 8 month old Labrador Retriever/Boxer mix!! What a winning combination:) I gets my smarts and love of people from the world's most popular dog (the Lab) and my cute slightly squished visage from the beautiful Boxer!! Foster Mum says I am the easiest and most loving pup she has ever fostered!! I walk on and off leash and go directly to my play yard after our walks to the river are finished...I don't run around and make Foster Mum chase after me like some of the pups. She tells me "Cub, go to your yard" and I go directly without hesitation. I am leash trained, crate trained and house trained. I know basic human speak and try really hard to please my Foster family. Did I mention that I LOVE going to the river on our daily walks? I love the cool flow of the river and will sink into it up to my ears :) My second favorite activity is to carry toys around in my mouth to show them to everyone I meet!! I don't tear up my toys, I just carry them carefully and walk up to everyone to show them my prize (we didn't have toys in the joint, so I am grateful for these blessings!) I am mostly fully growed at 42 pounds, so I am the perfect sized medium dog to snuggle with on the couch and join you on action adventure hikes and overnights. My life didn't start off great, but I am a "glass is half full" kinda dog!! I was found as a stray at the tender age of 8 weeks, and stayed at the shelter for 4 months...until a volunteer for Hay Dude sprung me out and brought me to the ranch. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the ranch!! I have always had a happy go lucky, joy filled personality (even during my unjust incarceration!). Living with my Foster family on the ranch is fabulous, but my dream is to have that special person (or persons) with whom to share my life. Coming from a shelter, my history is a bit of a mystery, but here's what my shelter friends said about me: "I LOVE TREVOR. And I rarely love male dogs. I really tried to pass over him because he's plain, and I thought "who's gonna want him but he reeled me right in. And now I'm stressing. He made me laugh multiple times. He's the perfect mix of energy and cuddle buddy. He enjoyed romping around outside, and we ended our time together hugging in the kennel. Yes. He hugged ME.
