Friendly, Independent, House-trained, Vaccinations up to date, neutered. Junior is a 9 yr lab mix 65lbs. Junior and another dog were left in a house by themselves for a year with former elderly owner feeding and watering once a day. She could no longer live in the house and was unable to take the dogs with her. Junior loves shredding his toys and getting the squeaker out, he loves the outside and going for walks. The rain and snow do not bother him at all. He rode well in the car going to the vet and was quite good in vet office. He is also comfortable without a lot of fuss and good at amusing himself. His housetraining is good as he goes out the doggie door and never made a mess inside. He is a very nice boy and deserves a loving home for the last years of his life. He can get excited and sometimes jump - please be willing to continue his training with this - so we feel best if his home doesn't have younger children or those unstable on their feet. He is working on knowing that sitting calm = happy humans and/or treatos. Ivan is a boy with a heart of gold who will love you beyond measure. I rescued Jack about 3 years ago when I was in college. He is almost 5 years old! I’ve since had a very mobile life and wasn’t able to keep up and give Jack the life he deserves - especially being apartment bound. I had then moved him in with my Mom for her to take care of him with a yard and another dog to have as a friend. Due to me living out of town, plus my mom having difficulties maintaining the care of both dogs, we are looking to give Jack a new family. Jack is a very sweet dog who always keeps to himself. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so when leaving we always crate him to avoid any house accidents. When I rescued Jack we didn’t have any information about his past other than he was a stray. You can tell he’s sensitive to noise and certain actions but is always so sweet. Jack is never aggressive for any reason! Someone who loves dogs, stable livelihood, and ability to understand what Jack needs would be a perfect fit!

He is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Harlow and his sister were found abandoned in a field, both in terrible shape. Thankfully, an incredible foster stepped up and now they are looking for their own forever families. This energetic pup loves to play and can play hard with the best of them! He holds his own with the big dogs and doesn’t back down from a wrestling match. Harlow has been around dogs from 10 lbs - 100 lbs, and just needs a little time to make sure they’re future friends. Harlow prefers his person over anything else, and enjoys relaxing with them wherever they are. He adores the human kids in the home and follows his foster mom around the house. He needs slow introductions to new people as he can be nervous, but with a little time becomes everyone’s friend. He may prefer a low traffic home until he settles in. He’s picking up his puppy basics quickly, and is already crate and potty trained, knows sit and walks great on leash. Harlow is loyal, loving and will be the absolute best boy for the humans that show him the world is a safe place. He is in Houston, Texas and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Jafar is a lovable, medium-energy puppy with an incredibly soft coat and an equally gentle heart. He’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes and has a respectful and friendly play style. His polite tail wag and single greeting bark make him a hit with canine friends both on and off leash. With people, he’s a bit more reserved; he wasn’t well-socialized early on, so strangers can be overwhelming at first. But with patience and a calm introduction, he warms up and shows his affectionate, cuddly personality. Because he can get a little mouthy when excited, he’s better suited to a home with older children. On walks, Jafar stays close and doesn’t pull, though he does have a tendency to zigzag his way along, taking in everything around him. At home, he’s still working on potty training and has an occasional accident, and the crate isn’t his favorite place, though he’s crated when left alone and during meal times. He shares toys well and loves playing with them, even if they don’t always survive his enthusiasm. He has also learned how to sit on command. Jafar would do best in a moderately active home with another friendly, confident dog to help boost his confidence on walks and help him feel brave in new places. His foster would adopt him in a heartbeat if her home wasn’t already full, which says everything about the wonderful dog he’s becoming. Jafar is a wonderful puppy with tons of potential. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. This adorable ball of energy is looking for an adventure buddy and human to love! Shelly is always up for a hike or long walk and would probably be a great running partner. Once she’s burned off that puppy energy, she’s ready to snuggle and get all of the attention and belly rubs. She hasn’t met any kids, but because of how excited she gets around people, older, dog savvy kids would be advised. Shelly lived with 2 male mastiffs and did great, however, she can be selective with female pups. We do recommend that Shelly be your one and only at this time. We have no information about cats. While she is a goofy girl working on her basic manners, she does learn quickly. She knows sit and loves to give her paw for treats! Shelly is house trained, letting you know when she has to go by tapping the door with her paw. She does well in a kennel too! Shelly is ready to win your heart!
