Story
Magnus is a fun, lazy, loving goofball! He takes a lot of naps, but loves his outdoor time. He likes to go for runs or walks (about 3 miles or less). He absolutely loves the park and free running, but has been trained very well on leash. He had a month of boarding school a few weeks ago, as the plan was to take him with me overseas. My dog trainer will do a few home classes with whomever adopts him.He loves playing tug of war and has been conditionally spoiled with a rawhyde every other day. He is almost 3 years old. I rescued him at 3 months. He is a lab, mastiff, hound mix almost about the size of a lab. He has grown up with a doggy door, but is house trained. He detests being left alone and will let you know how much he disliked your absence by crying (like a dramatic husky whine) when you come back to him. He is a very loving boy! He means more to me than anyone could possibly know, but I have to move and the plan to get him across seas with me fell through unexpectedly.

Story
Luna is a sweet girl that is four years old. She was adopted as a puppy from the shelter during Covid. She has grown up with a German Shepherd female dog of the same age and they get along well. She is kennel trained and is left for around four hours a day in her kennel on weekdays when we are at work. She is good at night and sleeps in her bed at the foot of our bed. She loves to be outside and explore. We take her on a fun walk in the morning so she can explore, and a training walk in the afternoon when she has been trained to heel while on leash, but is let loose in the local large park to run around off leash and socialize with other dogs. We have only had her for two weeks, but already she is responding to training really well. She knows wait, sit, ok, go to your room (kennel), and heel. Our daughter raised her in San Antonio from a pup, but told us a few months ago that she and her husband are getting a divorce so cannot keep them anymore, so we offered to foster them.

Meet RIlian-- a gentle old soul with a heart full of love and a soft spot for quiet moments. This senior gentleman is the definition of a sweetheart: calm, affectionate, and always ready for a cozy cuddle or a peaceful nap by your side. Rilian can be a little shy around loud noises, rain, or those pesky sprinklers-- he much prefers the quiet comfort of a warm, dry place. He does just fine with other dogs, especially mellow ones like himself, but he's also perfectly content having his own space and keeping things low-key. With his wise eyes and tender nature, Rilian is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can enjoy his golden years feeling safe, loved, and respected for the sweet, independent pup he is.

Story
Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.  If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"?  Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2137220##
