Story
If happiness had a four-legged mascot, it would be Amaya. This spirited 4.5-year-old, 65-pound Lab mix approaches each day with infectious enthusiasm—tail wagging, favorite toy in mouth, and a heart overflowing with love.Despite a challenging past, Amaya's resilient spirit shines through in everything she does. She transforms ordinary moments into celebrations and has an uncanny ability to bring smiles to everyone she meets. Whether she's squeaking her beloved toys, engaging in an epic game of tug, or simply greeting you at the door, Amaya radiates pure joy.Amaya comes with solid foundations: she's housebroken, crate-trained, and has completed basic obedience training. She’s great on a leash and loves walks! This smart, food-motivated girl is always eager to learn and please her humans.Currently, she's working with trainers to perfect her social skills, including polite greetings, impulse control, and mastering her 'place' command. While she can be a bit overzealous during first introductions—she thrives with slow, proper introductions and does well with playful companions who match her energy. She has had lots of fun at the dog parks and would do great in a home with another playful pup. Amaya isn't destined for a sedentary lifestyle. She dreams of adventures—hiking trails, jogging alongside her humans, or exploring new places on bike rides. After burning off that energy, she's perfectly content to settle in for quality cuddle time to recharge for tomorrow's adventures. There are a lot of reasons Amaya will steal your heart, and here are just a few:Endlessly optimistic with a playful, affectionate natureWell-trained foundation with house training, crate training, and basic obedienceIntelligent and motivated to learn new skills and commandsPerfect adventure companion for active families seeking a devoted friendIf you're ready for a dog who will infuse your days with boundless energy, genuine laughter, and unwavering love, Amaya is waiting to leap straight into your heart and transform your world. Story
Meet Daisy Daisy is a beautiful 5 year old yellow Lab mix with a heart every bit as golden as her fur. She adores her people and truly thrives when she is part of the family. With kids, she is especially sweet and gentle. She is patient, affectionate, and always ready for a game of fetch followed by a cozy couch snuggle.Daisy is happiest in a calm, predictable home. Loud commotion and sudden movements can make her nervous, and when she feels overwhelmed she may respond by getting a little nippy. With thoughtful guidance, structure, and an environment that helps her feel safe, Daisy relaxes into the loving, loyal companion she naturally is.She has lived peacefully with cats and does great with them. With other dogs, Daisy is selective and benefits from slow, structured introductions. Even with the best introductions, Daisy can get overstimulated and aggressive with dogs. She will stay below threshold most of the time but sometimes a dog gets too close to her food or human and she gets aggressive. She does best with respectful dogs who understand personal space and good dog manners. A thoughtful match will help her feel confident and secure.Daisy is nearly house trained and eager to continue learning. More than anything, she wants to belong. If you are looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will bond deeply with her family, Daisy is ready to give you her whole heart. To meet Daisy, please complete an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
Meet Mellow — the life of the party! Don’t let his name fool you — Mellow is anything but mellow! This 1.5-year-old sweetheart is full of personality and brings fun and joy wherever he goes. He absolutely loves people and other dogs and would thrive in a home where he can be part of the action. Mellow is house-trained with no accidents, does great when left alone, and is very well-mannered. He’s obedient, respectful in the home, doesn’t counter surf, and is a total gentleman. At night, he’s perfectly happy sleeping on the floor and settles in with no issues. This playful boy is all about toys — balls, frisbees, plush toys, tug, and (did we mention?) balls! Fetch is one of his favorite games, and he’s always ready for playtime. He also rides great in the car, making him an awesome adventure buddy. Mellow would LOVE a home where he can get attention, play, and be included as part of the family. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, well-behaved, social pup who will keep you smiling, Mellow is your guy!

Story
Meet Frost! Tall, handsome, and full of quiet charm — Frost is a neutered gentle giant with the softest heart. He’s lived with other dogs in his previous home and has done well, plus he’s kid-friendly too. He uses the doggy door and takes himself out to potty like a responsible grown-up boy. Despite his size, Frost is a shy soul at first. He just needs a minute to take it all in and feel safe. But once he comes out of his shell? Get ready. The tail starts wagging, the kisses start coming, and he will absolutely insist on butt scratches — it’s his love language. Frost enjoys playtime with balls and tug toys, and he already knows “sit” and “down.” He rides calmly in the car with no issues, happy to just hang out and enjoy the ride. This handsome hunk is ready to find someone patient and kind who will let him bloom at his own pace. Come meet Frost — he would truly love to meet you.
