Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We see a lot of dogs that come to us as strays from the shelter. Ambrosia is one of them and we are baffled at who would let this little girl go! This little Pyr mix is an absolute delight! Full of energy and spunk! She absolutely needs another dog in the home to play with but one who is very easy going and not too strong willed.  Ambrosia adores people, in fact if you don't pet her when she meets you she will whimper until you do! She is wonderful with kiddos too! This pocket Pyr mix is already house and crate trained and is ready for her forever home! Being fostered in Utah, don't wait to apply!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 23, 2026, 11:08 am

Story
Meet Tumnus! Tumnus is an adorable mixed-breed pup, about 8 months old who currently weighs roughly 35 pounds, who is the perfect medium-large sized Heinz 57 mix (possibly a hound, Boxer, lab with maybe a little Dachshund thrown in the mix ??) He is a curious, playful boy with medium energy who loves toys, chewing, fetch, zoomies, and playing with other dogs once he gets to know them. He's doing well with crate training and keeps his crate clean. Tumnus is still working on potty training and will often let you know when he needs to go outside. He's also learning basic manners and commands, making this the perfect time to continue his training. One of Tumnus's funniest quirks is that he likes to 'talk' to his people—and he'll even bark at Lex Luthor on TV! He also has a playful habit of nibbling on your toes to get your attention. Tumnus would love an active family, especially one with a fenced yard where he can run and play. With a little patience as he adjusts to a new home, this sweet, goofy pup will make the most wonderful companion!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Olive, a beautiful 5 year old, 64lb black lab mix! Olive is a sweet, loyal girl who wears her heart on her sleeve for her humans — she’s a total shadow, happiest when she’s right by your side following you from room to room. She’s also a total dog-lover and would do best in a home with another dog around her size to romp and play with. She can play a little rough, so a home with a small dog or a cat is only recommended for an adopter experienced with dog training and behavior — someone who can manage introductions and reinforce good manners along the way.Olive is generally low energy and content to relax, but she does love having a yard to zoom around in every once in a while with her doggie pals — a fun burst of energy before she’s back to lounging. She’s house trained, crate trained, and picked up on using the doggie door quickly. She’s also a dream at night — she sleeps straight through without needing a potty break. She loves a good game of fetch, is food motivated (which makes training a breeze), and is equally happy curled up in your bed or snoozing in her own dog bed. She’s currently working on her leash manners and is slowly learning to live peacefully with a cat in her foster home — she’s curious about her feline housemate, and progress is being made, but this is still a work in progress best suited to a confident, experienced handler. If a loyal, low energy with a little spunk companion is what you’re looking for — and you know how to guide a dog with just a few minor quirks — Olive might be your perfect match!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
Meet Eddie: a 3-year-old Lab mix who brings 60 pounds of pure love, sweetness, and tail-wagging charm. With his handsome face and striking green eyes, Eddie has gentle giant energy in the very best way. He is calm, respectful, and incredibly sweet with everyone he meets. Dogs of all ages and sizes? Yes, please. Kids? Eddie says, “The more friends, the better.” Eddie does live with cats in his current foster home, and while he's not aggressive, he does have a high-energy play style and will bark and sniff them closely.Eddie also comes with top-tier good-boy manners. He is quiet and submissive, crate trained, nearly house trained, and has no destructive habits or separation anxiety. In other words, he is ready to slide right into your routine like he has been there all along. He has the perfect “let’s have fun, then let’s chill” personality. Eddie is happy to hike, romp with dog friends, enjoy yard time, or light up the moment you grab his favorite toy for a game of fetch. Once the fun winds down, he is equally happy to park himself on his bed while you get things done or claim a cozy spot near the couch for TV time. Most of all, Eddie is a professional people-lover. He likes to stay close, soak up pets, and gently place his paws on your thigh when he thinks the petting session ended far too soon. If you love big dogs with even bigger hearts, Eddie might just be your dream come true.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal.
