Story
Arriving in Wisconsin on April 10th! Twinkle is a beautiful 5 month old female mixed breed puppy. Her exact breed is unknown, but we believe her to be a lab terrier mix. Twinkle was found by animal control and brought to the shelter. She is so excited to find her forever family. She has an extremely sweet and friendly personality. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped, and will come with her veterinary records and an interstate health certificate from a veterinarian inspection prior to leaving Texas. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, April 10th, and will be available to meet—and take home she is a good fit—by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as described below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday March 20th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent her from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo or credit cards processed through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. Story
Wildmint is a stunning female lab mix with a beautiful brown coat and comforting eyes. She is a friendly, affectionate girl who can’t wait to have a family of her own. This puppy is part of our “Mint Litter,” a group of young puppies currently being cared for at a shelter in rural Texas along with their mother, Mims. Like many litters in the area, they were brought into the shelter at a young age and are now getting the opportunity to travel north in search of loving forever homes. At around eight weeks old upon arrival in Wisconsin, these puppies are just beginning their journey in life. Like most young puppies, they are curious, playful, and eager to explore the world around them. They enjoy spending time with their siblings and soaking up attention from the people caring for them. Their future families should be prepared for all the fun (and work!) that comes with raising a young puppy, including continued training, socialization, and plenty of patience as they grow. While their exact breed mix is unknown, they appear to be Lab-type mixed breed puppies, and we expect them to grow into medium to large sized dogs. As with many rescue puppies, breed and adult size are simply our best estimates based on appearance and available information. They are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped, and they will come with their veterinary records as well as an interstate health certificate from a veterinarian confirming they are healthy for travel. Their adoption fee is $500, which helps support the many animals in our care whose medical needs far exceed their adoption fees. This sweet girl is really blossoming in foster care! She’s learning to trust and is full of love to give. Athletic and playful, she loves racing around the yard and following her foster sister’s lead. While still a bit timid, she’s very affectionate and will thrive with someone patient who can help her continue to gain confidence. She’s already crate trained and potty trained, making her a wonderful addition to the right homeApply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538

Story
Very nice to meet you, I'm Janeane! I'm about 1 year old & currently weigh about 50 lbs. I can sometimes be shy, but my foster family has been taking me on lots of outings & are really proud of how my confidence is building! You just need to have two magic items - treats & other dogs! I sleep like an angel in my crate overnight but am now trusted to choose my own spot (I choose my crate with the open door), I haven't had an accident in the house yet & I'm a breeze to walk. I'm fine sharing my toys (I love all kinds!) & food with humans & other dogs, aren't touchy about my tail/paws/ears/etc (after I'm comfortable with you) & crave affection so you better be okay with giving scratchies! I love walks where I can sniff & inspect everything. I am great on car rides. I haven't met any cats yet. Younger kids can make me nervous, they move fast & that's scary, I'll duck & maybe growl to have them calm down, but I've been great with older kids. I've lived with big & small dogs. I do *NEED* another confident dog to show me the ropes & help me understand that I'm okay. I also have a rough & tumble play style, so a dog friend with is okay with that is important. So, let's do this, I can't wait show you my silly, sweet, submissive, cuddly side that makes everyone fall in love. Apply to meet me at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538
