Story
Bucky is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who is full of love and energy. He enjoys long walks and playing fetch, but he also loves cuddling on the couch (sometimes he thinks he is a lapdog!) He is potty-trained and crate trained, and he is still learning basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Bucky would do best in a home with a large fenced-in yard where he can run and play to his heart's content. He would also enjoy having a doggie playmate, as he loves to play with other dogs. Bucky is not good with young children, as he can be a bit too playful. However, he would be a great addition to a family with older children or adults who can give him the love and attention he craves. Bucky is a very loyal dog who is ready to become your new best friend!!

Story
Navi is a Lab Pit mix with lots of love and energy. She loves to play frisbee more than anything in the world. Navi will do best in a home without children or children over the age of 13. It may take some adjusting if there is another dog as she has a more dominant demeanor so a home without another pet would be best. She is 5 years old and loves to cuddle. Navi takes a while to warm up to new people, but once she does she is very loyal. She has never been in a crate and roams the house when we are gone. She is potty trained and knows a few other tricks as well!

Story
Hi, I'm Pippa! A 4 year old lab mix. I love my humans but not other animals so I need be the only pet. I have a bit of anxiety so I would really benefit from someone who can spend a lot of time with me! I love being close to my humans and following them around everywhere. I get a little nervous with strangers but I warm up after a little time. I love when the house is nice and quiet (not chaotic) so I can relax with my humans. I love stuffed animals but don't let them last very long!

Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 03/09/2024 Litter Name: The J Litter Dog Name: Rooster Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever Mix Approximate Age: 11 months old Approximate Weight: 50 lbs. Description:  Meet Rooster.  He is an 11 month old, 50 pound, Great Pyrenese/Lab mix.  Bottle fed as a puppy, he has grown very loyal to his people.  He is sure to be one of those dogs that is always by your side.  He doesn't exactly know what personal space is, and likes to jump when he is excited, but he's trying to figure it out.  Rooster is very trainable and treat motivated... he already knows 'sit' 'down' 'shake' 'wait' and is getting very close to 'roll over'.  He likes car rides and going for walks.  Not a huge fan of the crate, but learning to like that as well.  He really would prefer to be right on your lap, rolled up in a ball.  He gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs, but does require some attention, as he can be possessive of his toys, food, and his person.  Because of this, I recommend he be an only dog with children over 12.  If you are looking for a teachable dog to go on adventures with during the day and cuddle at night...Rooster is the dog for you!   Adoption Fee: $475.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. April 25, 2024, 10:37 pm
